KIRKPATRICK, Margaret Kirkpatrick - Obituary | Print |

Our beautiful Mother, Wife, Oma, Sister and Friend is gone, but the energy, love and spirit that she brought to each of us lives on.

On April 3, 2014, Margaret Kirkpatrick went to be with the Lord.

Survived by her Partner/Husband of 34 years Jack Boonstra, and her Daughters Norma, Nikki, Michele. Most importantly her beautiful Granddaughters Brooke, Chelsea, Emma, Krista are left to carry on her incredible legacy.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rosenstein, Dr. Dixon and the teams at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Cancer Centre. Your kindness and compassion shown to our mother was unsurpassed and for this we are truly grateful.

While we mourn Marg's passing, we celebrate her vivaciousness and the joyous way in which she lived her life. Even as a child Margaret was the rebellious spark in the family, growing up in Germany and immigrating to Canada at the young age of 21.

Margaret was an ever-present force in her Daughters lives. She spent years encouraging them, giving them her strength and putting them first right up until the day she passed. Her tremendously wide circle of friends attests to the many lives she has touched over the years. She left this world without pain and surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Hebron Christian Reformed Church, 4240 Anderson Street, Whitby.

The family will receive visitors at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m.
