Armstrong_HelenIt is with great sadness that the family of Helen Clark Johnson Armstrong announces her passing in her 82nd year on October 21, 2014.

She leaves behind her husband Hector Alexander Armstrong, her loving son David (Carmen) and her adoring grandchildren Matthew, Olivia and Claire. She is survived by her sister Marjorie (Mel), her brother Larry (Sheila), and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by her parents William and Irene Clark, her husband Keith Johnson, her sister Madeline (Joseph), and brothers Jim (Elsie) and Don (Marg).

Helen was born and raised in Toronto. She worked for Corporate Foods for many years. She moved to the Orillia area in retirement.

Helen was a bubbly, vivacious woman with a kind word or deed for everyone. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. David was her pride and joy. Gramma spoiled her grandchildren with love and reveled in every one of their achievements. Her baking was legendary. Everyone was happy when Helen's apple pies and butter tarts were on the menu.

At Helen's request, there will be no service or visitation. Private Interment. A celebration of Helen's life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to the Lung Association would be appreciated by her family.

Beloved brother of George (Patricia). Sadly missed by sister-in-law Helen.

Loving and adored mother of Carmela (late Nick Guarini), Angelo (Antonietta), Rosa (Ralph Vozza), Giselle (Don Westlake).

Grandmother of Lorenzo Guarini (Kelly), Frank Guarini, late Francesco Barone, David Barone (Christine), Adam Barone (Jessica), Anthony Barone, Frank Vozza (Cheryl), Teresa (Greg Stratsma), Giovanni Vozza (Olena), Sherry (Wayne Fitzpatrick), and Todd Westlake.

She was the eldest of seven children and leaves behind siblings Frank Bruni (Rose), Saletta Bruni, and Ester Guzzo (Carmine).

Predeceased by Gabriele Bruni, Adelina Bruni and Michelina Mazzotta. Maria also leaves behind many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as many relatives from around the world.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 24th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.

Kathy passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her sons.

Beloved wife and soulmate of Stephen Bennett for 38 years.

Devoted mother to 4 sons, Adrian, Sean, Patrick and Daniel. Adoring Grandmother of Lamoura Anne Bennett.

Predeceased by her mother Anne Wilson. Survived by her Father Syd Wilson, Brothers Craig Wilson and Jamie Wilson and his family Amy, Madeleine and Dashiell. Loving Sister in Law of Maureen and John North and Carolynne and Nick Palmer. Will be missed by all the Gilmour and Wilson Families.

Also special Niece of Merrill Wallace. Kathy fought cancer for ten years but never once complained.

She devoted her life to her family and the education of young children. She will be sorely missed for her love of life, her laugh and her Apple Pies.

Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 12 Noon until the time of the Memorial Service in the chapel at 1 pm. with a reception to follow in the Arbor Lounge.

Barry is predeceased by his mother Mildred Beson, residing at Revera Living Long Term Care Facility, Oakville, ON.

Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

Beloved wife of the late Fred (2003). Dearest mother of Gerry (Linda), Janice, Elaine Campbell (Don), Mary and Christine. Loving grandmother of Donald (Sarah), Alice, Andrea (Tim), James, Stephen, Shauna and John. Proud great-grandmother of Cameron, Keith, Donald and Georgia. Dear sister of Celine McGinley. Predeceased by her parents James and Lucy Egerton and her brothers Bernard and Louis. Gertrude will be missed by her Egerton nieces and nephews and her "honourary family members" Bill and Betty Oxley.

Gertrude was devoted to her family, her Catholic faith and her numerous friends whose relationships she nurtured and treasured throughout her long life. We were truly blessed to have had such wonderful parents and we know they are together again.

The family is grateful to the doctors of "Blue Team" and Palliative Care, the nurses and physiotherapists of C4 General Medicine and the many priests who visited Gertrude during her five week hospitalization. All these individuals epitomize the virtues of dedication and compassion.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue (Yonge Street, south of Lawrence Avenue). Interment to follow.

Predeceased by husband Bert Hendry, son Brian, and brothers Edison and Robert. Loving mother of Barry (Judy) and Nancy (Steve). Proud grandmother of Luke (Susan) and Joshua (Alana), and adoring great-grandmother of Kuzo. Also mourning are sister Ruth Nadeau and family.

Resident of Leaside from 1946, retired from the United Church general office.

The family thanks the medical and nursing staff at Sunnybrook, and is grateful for the care from Dr. Jennifer Moore.

Service will be held in Toronto, on Saturday, November 15th.

In the warmth and love of the arms of his wife of 60 years, Bill passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on October 21, 2014 at the Centre d'Accueil Marguerite- Adam in Beloeil, Quebec.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife Barbara Elaine Holden, as well as his children Paul, Kathy, Ian, Barbara and Madeleine. Loving father-in-law to all his children's partners. Doting grandfather to Simon, Samuel, James, Stephanie, Cassandra, Lauren, Caroline, Gabriel, Rachel, Evelyn, Emily, Christian and Katie. Proud great-grandfather to Grayle and Asher. He is survived by his sister Margaret McGovern and was predeceased by his beloved son David and his brother Ross.

Bill graduated with a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Toronto in 1955. He worked at the CIL Central Research Laboratory for 11 years and then at CIL/ICI Explosives for 23 years until his retirement in 1991. Bill had a full and active life.

He was a dedicated member of Richelieu Valley United Church in Beloeil where he served as elder and teacher. His greatest joy was music and he sang in the church choir for 51 years. Sports were also a big part of his life. He enjoyed hockey, skiing, golfing, curling, swimming and soccer. He shared his love of soccer as a coach in Otterburn Park for many years. He was an avid gardener, loved nature and shared his love of the outdoors with his family on many hiking and camping vacations.

Many thanks to the caring staff of the Centre d'Accueil Marguerite-Adam and Hotel-Dieu, St. Hyacinthe.

Devoted grandmother of Julie, Michael, Julia and Corey. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Cody, Skylar, Kennedy, Trinity and Lennon.

Funeral service in Georgetown on Saturday, October 25th.  Cremation.

MORLEY, Gregory 'Greg' -

Morley_GregIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic death on October 21st, of Gregory Morley, 31.

Much loved son of Sharon and Michael Morley, brother of Kristen and Thomas, and dear uncle to Hunter. He will be especially missed by his grandparents Kathleen (the late John) Morley and Marjorie (the late Anthony) Horeczy.

He will be missed by his aunts and uncles Suzanne (Roger) Barker, Matt (Karen) Morley, Jackie (Peter) Ruiter, Debbie (Frank) Young, Chris (Cathie) Horeczy, Larry Horeczy, Rick (Shelley) Horeczy and his many cousins. He will be sadly missed by Melanie Kawula.

Greg's family will receive visitors at the George Darte Funeral Home, St. Catharines on Saturday, October 25th from 2:00 - 3:45pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
