Peacefully on September 21, 2014 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease, Joyce passed away at the Woodlands of Sunset.

Loving wife of 54 years to Jim, beloved and devoted mother to Vicky (Steve), Gary (Jackie) and Jeff (Lisa).

Joyce's grandchildren were her pride and joy. Missing her always and forever are Lucas, Avery, Jakob, Matt, Zoe, Nick, Carson, Isabella and Walker. Joyce is predeceased by her parents Leo and Besty Kuiper and sister Tina. Joyce was a graduate of the Mack School of Nursing (1959).

She enjoyed travelling, gardening and bird watching. Joyce often shared her love of the opera and ballet with her grandchildren and friends.

Most will miss her smile and laughter as she spent time with family and friends.

Heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Woodlands of Sunset and Dr. Ali for their loving care.

In keeping with Joyce's wishes cremation and a private family gathering has taken place.

Donations in memory of Joyce to Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away Sunday morning, September 21, 2014 at the age of 84.

Rosa lived a full life loving all and leaving a legacy of joy and happiness in all that she touched.

She always had a ready smile, a kind heart and somehow seemed to know exactly what to say at the right moment to comfort, uplift and edify.

She was an example of courage, faith, hope, fortitude, wisdom and charity.

She gave of herself freely and expected nothing in return.

She loved her family dearly and always sought opportunity to bring them together. Your family loves you and will miss you and looks forward to seeing you again!

Brother of Edmund (Carol) and Brian (Urs). Son of the late Henry and Bertha.

Peter enjoyed a long career with Imperial Oil. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and hunting.

Service will be held in Newmarket, on Monday, September 29th.

Reunited with her husband Gordon Thomas Taylor.

Dear mother of Lynne (Axel), Donna (Charles) and Jill (Jef). Loving nan of Paul, Zeb (Kyla), Tanya (Paul), Brittany, Abbey and Jacob and great-nan of Ryan, Jamie, Jase, Zenya and Eden. Beloved sister-in-law of Elsie Pollard and Henry Taylor.

Predeceased by siblings Vega, Adin, Rede and Henry. Ruth will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A special thank you to the staff and residence at Cedarvale Lodge for the wonderful care, friendship and support she received. Cremation.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cedarvale Lodge, 121 Morton Ave., Keswick on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.

Peacefully, surrounded by his family in his 87th year after a lengthy illness, Rosario was called back home to God, on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Humber River Regional Hospital - Finch Site.

Predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Ermelinda Carmela and brothers and sisters, Antonio, Domenic, Battista, Giovanna and Suor Maria Crocifisa.

Loving father of Enrica (Pasquale Chieffallo), Francesco (Colomba) and John (Maria). Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Patricia Joan Air and grandson, Rosario Francesco.

Adoring grandfather of Alfio (Linda), Jessica, Danny (Daniela), Michael, Carmela (Steve), Vittoria, Mark and Pamela. Loving great- grandfather to Matteo, Ava, Alessandro and Abbey Rose. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to sisters- in-law, Maria, Elizabeth, Mafalda, Rosina and the thoughts and prayers of brother-in-law, Giacomo.

Survived by sister, Rosina. He has touched many lives and will be missed by many friends.

Passed away peacefully on September 21, 2014 at the age of 56 following an unfortunate accident.

Doug was the beloved son of Grant and Leila Wallace, devoted husband of 29 years to Sharon, very proud father of Megan and Colin, loving brother to Dave, Sandy and husband Dwayne Ouellet, Cathy and husband Mark Frank and loyal family member and friend to many.

Doug did not suffer nor did he see those closest to him suffer during this unexpected time of loss. Sharon, Megan and Colin would like to announce that there will be a Celebration of Life for Doug in the near future that will commemorate a life well lived with laughter, memories, and stories - just as Doug would want!

At age 62, Margaret Weir passed away peacefully at her home in Thornhill with her family by her side on September 21, 2014 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Brockville and raised in Kingston, Margie went on to study English literature at Queen's University, where she met her husband Bob.  She became a kindergarten teacher in the Toronto Catholic District School Board and was loved by students, parents and colleagues alike.

Since her retirement in 2009 she had more time for gardening, golf, travel, writing, reading and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Predeceased by her parents Tom and Kay Monahan and brother John, Margie is lovingly remembered by her husband Bob, children Cameron and Alexandra, son-in-law Farron, brothers Tom and Mike, sisters-in-law Cindy and Janine, nephews Peter, Brendan, Ryan and Sean and niece Laura.

The funeral will take place on Saturday, September 27th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Passionist Parish, 670 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1942, immigrating to Canada with her parents in 1955.

A keen summer cottager on Lake Rosseau, Muskoka, while enjoying winters in Palm Beach Shores, Florida.

Service will be held in Markham on Thursday, September 25th.

Late in the afternoon of Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, just days before her 84th birthday, after a battle with rheumatoid arthritis and cancer.

Five years after losing her husband of 52 years, Joseph Edmund Wolfe of Streetsville, Willa is survived by four couples who appreciated her love, smile and support, Bill and his wife Janice, Charlotte and her husband Gary Cooke, Elizabeth and her husband Garth Jopling and Edmund and his wife Liliana Chiroque.

Willa was also the beloved grandmother to Laura, Andrew, Sydney, Calum and Isabelle, and for nearly 60 years, a sister-in-law to Sandra (Wolfe) Emerson.

There are also fond memories of roots in Oakville and of the Secord family, Uncle Bill and Aunt Doris, both passed away, and their children, John, Rick, Mary and Jim.

Memorial Service will be held in Oakville on Friday, September 26th.

His endless stories will live on through everyone who knew him.

A memorial sevice in her honour will take place on October 11, 2014 at 3 p.m. in Thornhill United Church, 25 Elgin St. (at Dudley Ave.).

Interment to follow at the church Memorial Garden, where she devoted many volunteer hours keeping the flowers blooming. Reception following at the church.

Born in Latvia on March 14, 1932. She had the mind and soul of a 50 year old. Tamara passed away peacefully at the Oakville Senior Citizens Residence. She was with me for my first breath, I was there for her last.

Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the OSCR. Without all of you the weight on our shoulders would have been much heavier. She talked about the Staff daily and how great each of you were.

Tamara battled cancer for two years but unfortunately lost the fight. I truly loved you with all my heart, as I know you did mine. I will miss you every day. God bless you.

FENN, Peter Edward -

After a long illness, Peter passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Cawthra Gardens in Mississauga.

He was predeceased by his son Peter Laurence.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Helen, his daughters Vivian and Lynn, his son Colin, his daughters-in-law Caroline and Katie, his grandchildren David, Michelle, Tony, Natasha and Alexander, his brother Frank and his extended family members.

Heartfelt gratitude to Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care Residence and the Alzheimer Society of Peel for their loving support and attention to Peter's needs.

Memorial Service will be held in Mississauga, on Saturday, September 27th.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Peel would be appreciated.

FIRLOTTE, Major Robert Bruce -

Age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Scarborough General Hospital.

He was born August 30, 1917 in Campbellton, NB, to the late Violet and Stanley Firlotte.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Doris Firlotte (Mooers), daughter Catherine Johnson, son-in-law John Johnson, granddaughter Jessica Johnson, grandson Christopher Firlotte and partner Stefanie Vernuccio and predeceased by his son Lorne Firlotte and his sisters Vera Reith, Ila McRae and Joyce St. Jean.

Memorial service will be held in Scarborough, ON, on Saturday, October 4th.
