Mary is survived by her loving family, namely son Bill and his wife Margaret, and daughter Sandy and her husband Gary.

Mary, a.k.a. "Gran," will be sadly missed by her grandsons Michael, and Jeffrey and his wife Joanna. "GiGi" will be greatly missed by great grandchildren Mason, Avery, Reid, and Chase.

Mary will also be greatly missed by her sisters Helen, and Sonia and her husband Jim.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, March 30th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alban The Martyr Anglican Church, 527 Main Street, Glen Williams, Ontario L7G 3T1, with Reverend Aaron Orear officiating. Reception to follow in St. Alban's Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills, 222 Mountainview Road, Georgetown.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 30th at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, (70 Toronto Street North).

Passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 84.

Bill Overholt, beloved and devoted husband of Gail Overholt (nee Decaire). Dear father of Jeff and his wife Melissa and cherished papa of Bennie and Lily.

Survived by his brother Gerry and his wife Ruth (St. Catherines), by his sister Marjorie and her husband Hal Siddall (Calgary), and their families. Brother in law to Bruce and his wife Jean Decaire and family, and to Rick Decaire. He will be sadly missed by many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Gladys and Ralph Overholt and by his mother and father-in-law Blanche and Al Decaire.

Thank you to the wonderful nurses and volunteers of The Carpenter Hospice for the care and compassion you gave Bill these last few weeks.

A Memorial Gathering will take place at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of the QEW), BURLINGTON, on Saturday, April 4th from 3 - 6pm. A family tribute will take place at 4pm. Cremation has taken place.

Mary, devoted wife of Donald Rand for 61 years. Loving mother of Tony (Patti), Lisa (Dave Hoy), Lesley Shoji (Pamela Anderson), Nancy (Chris Peavoy).

Mary will be cherished forever in the hearts of her grandchildren Jaclyn (Chris McCann), Adam, Jarrett, Brett, Jay, Brianna and Kyle.

Arrangements out of Georgetown. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held in the spring.

To honour Mary's memory, donations to the charity of the donor's choice are appreciated by her family.

April 25, 1941 - March 25, 2015

After a heroic and determined fight against cancer, Janet passed away peacefully at Bridgepoint Hospital.

Janet, daughter of Frederick and Fanny Ray of Dryden, Ontario, is survived by her beloved husband Jeremy Richardson of Toronto, and by her sisters Lynne and Norma, brother Brian, her nieces Allyson, Marla, Erin, her nephew Jeffrey, and their respective families in whom she took a steady and continued interest throughout her life.

Janet, a graduate of Huron College at the University of Western Ontario, had a distinguished career with the Toronto Board of Education as teacher, librarian, Vice Principal, Principal of Jarvis Collegiate Institute and as a Senior Superintendent of the Toronto Board of Education until her retirement in 1998.

Janet was the author of two books on the history of women in the Province of Ontario and throughout her career played a significant role in supporting and enhancing the role of women in leadership in education. Janet will be sorely missed by her many colleagues and friends.

Services for Janet are private and she requested no flowers.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society , The Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre or a charity of choice will be greatly appreciated by her family.

A Celebration of Life, for her family and friends, will be announced in the near future.

After a short battle with an aggressive illness, passed away quietly. Best friend and beloved husband of Sandy.

Loving brother of Pam Mauran and Richard Duggan (Barbara) of Kelowna and the late Charles.

He will be sadly missed by many friends and family. Counte was a Canadian and North American paddling champion in the 1940s and 50s and had many fond memories of his early days living on Centre Island. Ran his own insurance agency for many years.

An avid sailor (including Caribbean and Mediterranean), golfer, skier, tennis and squash combatant, curler and lawn bowler.

He enjoyed many years of travel and visits with Richard and Barbara and many good times at the Balmy Beach Club.

The family thanks the Toronto East General Palliative Care Unit and A3 staff for their great support.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life at the Balmy Beach Club on Tuesday, April 7th from 2 - 4 p.m.
