She is predeceased by her loving husband Adelino Dal Bello and they will now lay together in Oakville.

Loving mother of Luciano and partner Allison, Dino and wife Filomena, Lida and husband Geof and son Eddy.

Cherished Nonna of Cali, Leo, Emily, Christy, Steven, David, Anthony, Jillian, Nicole and Erica and a beloved sister to 13 siblings.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from HOLY ROSARY PARISH, 139 Martin St., Milton on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in Oakville.

Grandchildren Sarah, Wade, Leanne, Ryan, Nicole, Jennifer, Brittany, Shane, Ashley, Nicholas, Cody, Lindsay, Eric, Zachary, Makayla, Alexis, Elisabeth and John. Great-grandchildren Hakim, Eli and Atticus.

Will be sadly missed by her sisters, brothers- in-law and sisters-in-law. Also by other family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Highway 7, Markham, at 10 a.m.

Loving wife of Harold Snow, cherished sister of Jo (Earl Miller) and beloved Aunt Hopey to her nephews Grayson and Ryan Miller. Hope spent her career at the former Federation of Women Teachers' Associations of Ontario, winning recognition from the Federation for service excellence.

There will be a private family service and interment.

Reception celebrating Hope's life, open to her many friends, will be held in Toronto, on Saturday, August 16th.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.

Also remembered for his love of humanities, he will be sadly missed.

Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, in Guelph.

Her passion for life included fishing, bowling, horse races, lotteries, bingo and casino.

A private family service was held and she rests at Highland Memorial Gardens.

Passed away after a long battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on August 1st, 2014, in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas William 'Bill' Todd of Brantford for 11 years, and for 46 years of the late Garfield W. (Garry) Hurst.

Devoted and loving mother of Bill Todd (Margaret), Pat Cake (Bob), and Ken Hurst. Sadly missed by grandchildren Heather Todd (Shawn Barre), Steven Todd (Josie), Tara Cake (Paul Cote), Darryl Cake (Kristy), Laura Hurst (Matt Haley), Rob Howard (Karen) and great-grandchildren Jeremy, Olivia, Lucy, Sarah, Julia, Alex, Kaylee, Payton, Gracie and Oliver.

Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Eva Nevett and her sisters Clara (Clare) Kubbinga and Belle Walker.

Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews and her many friends.

The family would like to thank Seasons of Clarington in Bowmanville for their excellent care and compassion and the Palliative Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their care of our Mother and their support and guidance to the family.

Lorraine held many jobs but the one she really enjoyed was at the Shaw Theatre in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She was a member of the Newcastle United Church and the U.C.W., a care giver to two husbands.  She enjoyed many activities including euchre and listening/judging karaoke at The Brig.

A Memorial service will be held Newcastle on Saturday, August 9th.

Donations in Lorraine’s memory to the War Amps would be appreciated by the family.

Proud grandmother of Lynnette Johnston and Paul Gray, Karen Lewis and Bernard Tobin, Teresa Johnston and Tony Comella, Sabrina and Michael Eels, Ed Lewis and Erin Peck, Pauline and Brian Wilson. Adored Nana to Jonathan, Travis, Alexis, Gloria, Hilary, Jerad, Abigail, Liam, Bridget, Madden and Ryder. Edna is survived by her sisters Jean and Don Armstrong, Norene and Jack Judge.

She is predeceased by her parents Irene and Nelson Wilson and her siblings Harold, Lorne, Ilda, Gordon and Olive. Edna will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends at cards, the Outdoor Resorts at Orlando and fellow Twin Seas campers.

She will be missed by her brother Brian and his partner Laura, her brother-in-law Joey, and sisters-in-law Annette and her partner Wing, and Karen and her husband Eric, as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and her colleagues and clients at Prosperity One.

Friends are invited to meet the family at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill Street East, Acton on Wednesday, August 6th where her funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Canon Mark Tiller at 11 o’clock.  Private cremation will follow.

87, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2014, at Avalon Care Centre in Orangeville, ON.

Paul leaves five children and their spouses, Christine and husband Christopher Coombs, Karen Royal and husband Chris, Deb Langlois (wife of late son Gerry), Trudie Russell and husband Bill, John and wife Lesley and Jamie and wife Nil Chinoy.

He also leaves 12 grandchildren, Lorna Coombs, Adam Coombs, Nadine Nesling, Carolyn Nesling, Amy McMillan, Kerri Langlois, Kyle Langlois, Jonathan Russell, Joshua Russell, Cameron Langlois, Aidan Langlois and Logan Langlois and two great- grandchildren, Sheila Langlois and Felix Mole.

Paul was predeceased by his wife Sheila, his son Gerry, his brother Jack and his sister Henrietta.

A lifelong resident of Kirkland Lake until he moved south to be closer to family, Paul owned and operated the Ti-Coq Grill on Prospect Avenue and later on Government Road for almost 40 years. He was a longtime community volunteer and chaired both the local Cancer Society annual drive and the Kirkland Lake Winter Carnival for several years.

He was also a locally renowned slo-pitch pitcher -- but not a runner.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial for Paul will be held in Kirkland Lake at a future date.

(1953 - 2014) - It is with much sadness that the family and friends of Michael “Shakey” Lawson announces that he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, August 1, 2014, at home.

Michael was the brother of David of Burlington and will be missed by Susan, Sarah, Michael and Geoffrey.

He was predeceased by his parents, Audrey and Winston Lawson.

Michael will also be remembered by many friends who have shared his life since his early days in the Westdale community where he grew up and lived most of his too short existence. His work was always located in Hamilton, where he most recently operated his own small business.

Michael was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Black Hawks, stretching back to the glory days of Mikita, Hall and Hull. He liked golf, enjoyed a fondness for the racetrack and had an eye for a promising nag. Shakey shared many happy hours at the West End Pub with his friends and will be remembered for his warmth and generosity of spirit. He was there for those who needed him.

Memorial visitation will be held in Burlington on Thursday, August 7th. A remembrance and celebration of Shakey’s life will be shared by his family and friends at a later date.

Vice President Johnston and Daniel Real Estate, Toronto ON, Ret'd Life Member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association Mort was the proud son of the late Dr. S. Mortimer Lyon and Florence Ada Lyon (nee Millichamp).

He was the loving husband for 63 years of the late E. Joan Lyon (nee Southam). Father of Mary Virginia (Ginny) Lyon and her daughter Samantha (Sam) Nye, whose help and love for such a long period of time meant so much to both Joan and Mort. Father also of David Mortimer Lyon, daughter-in-law Patrice Lyon (nee Drew), their five children and three grandchildren, Christopher Lyon (Arran Tyre) and their daughter Violet Lyon; Lyndsay Lyon (Darren Fung) and their sons Atticus and Quinn; Shannon, Sarah and Peter Lyon. Step-grandfather to Matthew and Alex Nye. Mort was also predeceased by his two sisters, Ruth Martin, Joyce Mary (Timmie) Osler/Southam, and two brothers, Hugh M. Lyon, Peter H. Lyon and by many Lyon, Southam and Millichamp family members. Mort was in the wholesale textile business for nearly twenty years travelling mostly in Southwestern Ontario.

About 1963, he entered the real estate field and earned his salesmen licence, broker's licence and appraiser's licence, from courses at York, Ryerson, University of Toronto, and others.

Mort enjoyed collecting family histories, New Orleans jazz, Big Band music and saw, personally talked to, knew, and danced to many of the famous orchestras. Latterly, he moved to Big Bay Point and then to Tollendale Retirement Village, where he met so many wonderful people and had much help from his caregiver Janice Zaba.

A Memorial service will be held in CHURCH OF ST. TIMOTHY (ANGLICAN), 100 Old Orchard Grove on Wednesday, August 13 at 2 p.m.

As a tribute to Dad, please visit a neighbour and fix something for them or just have a nice chat with them.

May 1, 1910 - August 1, 2014

Our dear mother has left this world and the world is poorer for it. She peacefully died in her sleep.

Maria Piller was known to family, friends and acquaintances simply as "Mutti Piller", such was her caring and nurturing disposition towards all. She will be missed, especially by her children Harald, Helmut, Heinar and Heidi, her nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mutti Piller lived through two world wars, brought up four children during wartime chaos and in her forties, left her native Vienna to forge a new life in Canada.

She soon established herself as a leader among her family, friends and fellow Austrians.

She was honoured with the Silver Decoration of Merit from the Republic of Austria.

A big thank you to the staff at St. Hilda's Towers for their gentle care.

Loving grandfather of Robert, Shawn, Trisha, Jordan and Hayden, Liam, Briana, Taylor and Meghan, Madison, Jack and Sean. Brother of the late Tom, Helen and John. 

A funeral service will be held in Toronto on Wednesday, August 6th. Cremation to follow.
