SYMONS, Kelvin Edward Bunner -
Peacefully, on June 28, 2014 at Trillium-Mississauga at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of Margaret for 65 years.
Loving father of Ian (Cyndy Lee). Cherished grandfather of Esme and Arlo. Survived by his dear brother, Paul Symons (Ruth). Born in Port Hope, he received his degree from University of Toronto in 1947.
He worked for the Ontario Water Resources and later, the Ministry of the Environment. Kelvin was the quintessential engineer, who loved to figure out how things worked and how to make them work better. He had a great eye for detail and ingenuity. Always the optimist, Kelvin lived with good humour and a smile on his face.
He was patient, caring, considerate, generous and "the best story teller in the whole world" according to his grandchildren. Kel was always thinking about his family and how to make them happy.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St.,
Service will be held in Mississauga on Saturday, September 27th.
For those who wish, donations may be made to Canadian Blood Services.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Trillium Mississauga Hospital for the wonderful care he received.
