After 77 years, we are sad to announce her passing on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Survived by her beloved children: daughter Susan and her son Stuart and his wife Francesca; her grandson Gage; her brother John Larsen and sister Ruth Halliwell.

Predeceased by her loving husband Darwin; her sister Margaret Hopkins; brother Cliff St. Eloi and brother Ron St. Eloi, their families and many close friends. Born in Cranbrook, BC, the daughter of Rhea and Jack Larsen. Mona was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and will be sadly missed by her fellowship of sisters and brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th from 5-8 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home at 2900 Kingston Road in Scarborough.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 10:00 a.m., also at McDougall & Brown. Donations in memory of Mona can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Passed away peacefully with family at his side at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in his 71st year.

Beloved husband of Dianne (nee Novakowski); loving father of Lorrie and Ryan; loving brother of Wilhelmina (Willy) Wildman and her husband Ed, Gerald (Gerry) Bakker and his wife Valerie; dear brother-in-law of Maureen Balestrere and Eugene and Leanna, Edwin and Kathy, Jim and Cindy; cherished son-in-law of Genevieve (Jean) Urbanski.

William will be missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins at home and abroad in the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. 

Funeral Service will be held in Orangeville on Saturday, July 19th.

Passed peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 91 years of age.

Proudly served, WWII British Merchant Navy, Past President Royal Canadian Legion Branch 75, Past Zone Commander and Life Member, 50 year Mason of St. George Lodge No. 367.

Now reunited in Heaven with his dear wife Mame (deceased, 2005). He will be deeply missed by his son Bob and his wife Debbie of Newmarket.

Predeceased by sisters Nellie, Aletha, Phyllis and brother Gerald.

Lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Herb Moores and sister-in-law Blanche Batson and his much loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Special thanks to the staff at Southlake Palliative Care Ward and Barton Retirement Residence for their kindness and wonderful care.

Funeral service will be held Newmarket on Tuesday, July 22nd.

At Lakeside Long Term Care, surrounded by family, Gwen Cooke passed away peacefully on July 15, 2014.

Gwen was born August 2, 1919 in Blackwood, Wales.

Gwen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Stewart Cooke. Gwen will be missed by her daughter Laurie Cooke and her son Alexander (Sandy) Cooke (Fiona). Gwen will also be missed by her grandchildren Colin (Tara), Aaron (Courtney), Daniel (Karen), Nadia (Travis) and Alisan (Anders) and her great-grandchildren Alexander, Elise, Sidney, Jacob, Emmett and Carter. Gwen was predeceased by her devoted sister Olive Chester, brother Bill Richardson and sister Lillian Briggs. Gwen will be missed by her nieces Toni Neff and Diane Chester and Emily and Oskar Neff (to whom Gwen was a great-aunt).

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Lakeside Long Term Care facility who took wonderful care of Gwen during the last 7 years of her life with Alzheimer's.

Gwen embraced all aspects of life with passion and energy: the politics of the CCF and NDP, her husband's work with the United Steelworkers of America, love of travel, culture, weekend bridge with Olive and Dick, Scarborough Needlearts Guild but most of all her love of family and friends. Gwen was a devoted caregiver. Her generous and adventurous spirit will be sorely missed.

Service will be held in Toronto on July 19th.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the New Democratic Party would be appreciated by the family.

Loving mother of Cameron of Nakina, ON and Eric (Vicki) of Cannington, ON. Dear grandma of Jeff, Sam and Zach.

Predeceased by her sister Myrtle Bedford and one grandson David.

In her 97th year, with her family by her side, has gone to join her husband Joe (1996) and her beloved father and role model, Arthur (Gampy) and long deceased mother (Rose) and sister Patricia and brother Paul.

She was an inspiration to her children Jim (Mary Anne), Judy (the late Lorne) and Kathy (John). She was adored by her 9 grandsons Jeff (Holly), Kevin (Amy), Rodney (Jacquie), Steve (Rachel), Steve, Dave (Lindsay), Mike (Ashley), Adam and Jon (Erin) and 15 great-grandchildren who thought their GG was the best.

Will also be missed by her devoted niece Ann Pearson. She was a very gentle person, with a very strong character. Catherine kept up with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives, offering her sage opinions as needed.

She was an active and loving person who enjoyed cards, knitting and sewing. She leaves many dear friends in Toronto, St. Catharines and most recently at Marion Place in Oshawa.

The family wishes to thank all her friends who stayed with her to the end. We tried to give back some of the care and love that we were given.

Rest in peace Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marion Place Tenants Association would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, July 17th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M.

Cherished and beloved daughter of Chris and JoAnn, and loving sister of Michael and David.

Danielle will be sadly missed by her entire extended family, including nanny Marcella, aunts and uncles Barb/Geoff, Ken/Deanna, Judy/Bill, Barb/Paul.

She will be fondly remembered by many friends and family in cities across southwestern Ontario, including Windsor, Mississauga, Newmarket, Niagara, Hamilton, and London.

Danielle was a creative talent who appreciated the beauty in our world through an artist's lens. She had a broad love of the arts, included painting, music, movies, and yes - culinary cooking shows. More than anything though, she loved and cherished her family and friends. Those who knew and loved her will hold her in their hearts forever.

Thanks go out to the dozens of doctors, nurses, and medical support staff who provided exceptional care and compassion during Danielle's courageous fight with cancer. A special thank you to Dr. Helen Pyle and Glenann Vincent, palliative specialists who were there by her side providing medical care and friendship every step of the way.

Arrangements out of Oakville. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Tuesday, July 22nd, at 1:00 p.m.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to a 'cancer-related' charity of your choice in Danielle's name. The family's preferred charity is Ian Anderson House, a local six-room cancer hospice providing palliative care to its residents and their families.

Peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the age of 95.

Beloved husband of Anne for 70 years. Loving father of Larry and the late Susan.

Proud grandfather of Wayne (Lea), Michel and Ari.

Robertson_KenBorn December 18, 1929 in Ospringe. Died July 15, 2014 in Warkworth, Ontario peacefully with Bobbe at his side.

Husband and best fried of Roberta Scott Robertson (Bobbe). Loving father of Lynda Ward & Al Wilder, Windsor and Donna & Bill Van Huisstede, Burlington.

Beloved Grampa of Melissa & Kevin Martin and Becky & Eric Hart. Treasured Big Grampa of Aidan, Anna, Rachel, Kaelyn and Douglas. Special Dad to Squib.

Will be remembered with love by brothers Doug & the late Helen Robertson and Brian & Jane Robertson and cherished by generations of nieces and nephews.

Whether it was baseball, football, hockey, curling, bowling, skiing, snowmobiling, quilting, flying or golfing, or being the ultimate party guy for 45 years owning Complete Party ­Rentals in Oakville, Ontario, he did it all with an excellence that endeared many. He will be missed.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held at the Warkworth Free Methodist Church, on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. A memorial will follow in Oakville at a later date.

Schneider_GlennIt is with profound sadness that the family of Glenn Rudy Schneider (formerly of Kitchener) announces his passing following a brief, courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 4:00 am at the age of 52.

Glenn passed away at home surrounded by his family; loving wife of 26 years, Elaine (McDonald), cherished children Laura Anne, Andrew and Emily, loyal companion Beau.

Glenn loved life and lived every moment to the fullest. He will be forever missed by his mother Dolores (Kavelman) of Kitchener (father Rudy Schneider, predeceased), sister Karen and brother-in-law Don Reist of Breslau, sister Brenda and brother-in-law Art Martin of Breslau, mother-in-law Helen and father-in-law Jack McDonald of London, sister-in-law Karen and brother-in-law Dale Nethercott of Putnam, as well as by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Glenn’s absence will be keenly felt by his colleagues at AMEC-NSS in Toronto where he worked as Director of Risk Management.

Arrangements out of Milton.  The funeral service will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 54 Benton St., in Kitchener on Saturday, July 19th at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Glenn’s name.

The family of Bea Schonnop sadly announces her passing after a battle with cancer at Georgetown District Hospital on Tuesday,
July 15, 2014 at age 80.

Beatrice Lillian Cripps wife of the late Gerald Schonnop.

Loving mother of Robert, Jeraldine (Ladd), Daniel, and Marlene (Peeters) all of Halton Hills. Wonderful grandmother of Lilreta Ladd. Sister of Marie Ried, Isabel Moffatt, Sarah Adams and predeceased by brothers Fred, Les, Gordon, Kenny, Cecil and David Cripps and sisters, Sandra Tucker and Ida Cripps.

Also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Remembered by co-workers and customers at the Reliable Taxi Snack Bar where she waited tables, cooked and dispatched and was fondly called 'Pinball Momma.'

Bea has been cremated and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Evangel Family Church, 33 Churchill Road, North, Acton, on Saturday July 19, 2014, at 2 p.m.

Interment, Acton.
