Beloved mother of Paul, Michael, Stephen, Gabrielle, Joan and David. Loved grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her brothers and sister, close family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME (28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax 905-428-8488) on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. ISAAC JOGUES ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (1148 Finch Ave., Pickering) on Thursday, January 16 at 10:30 am.

Joan will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill following the service.

She leaves her loving children Sara (Kenneth Mouré), Rob (Chris Johnson), Naomi (Dan McNeil), her grandsons Owen Norquay and Chris Mouré, her three siblings and many friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 17 at Metropolitan United Church.  Visitation at 12:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Cherished sister of Sue (John Giroux), Mark Miscio, John Miscio (Angela), Michael Miscio (Jennifer), Lisa Miscio, Carla (Paul Eros), and Mary (Andrew Ferro). Beautiful sister-in-law of Charlton and Sue Perry, Chad and Bobbi Minter, Thomas and Vanessa Perry, Edward and Danielle Perry, and Susan Perry. Cherished aunt of 23 nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her grandparents, aunt Marie, Roger Danis, and niece Carla.

Gina was a woman of God who loved and cared for her children, nieces and nephews by following the example of St. Therese. A dedicated employee of CMHA and member of the CWL she practised her faith in everything she did. She loved and is loved by everyone she met. Gina lived for summers at the cottages, Kawartha Dairy ice cream, Nutella, and "holding court".

Gina had a special way of leaving an impression on everyone she met. Gina's amazing character, caring and loving personality, and contagious laughter will never be forgotten and we look forward with joy to seeing her again.

Special thank you to beloved cousin Patricia, The Canadian Martyrs school especially Natasha, Saint Paul's prayer group, and to the health care professionals at the Juravinski Cancer Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Rd., Burlington, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.

Dear sister of Helen Parish, Mona Mustard, Hugh Baird and predeceased by Glynis Simmons and Marilyn Snoddon. Iva will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Age 68, died in Kfar Saba, Israel on January 11, 2014 of lung cancer.

Beloved son of Jeannette Urbas and Avrahm Rotenberg (predeceased), brother to Lorie Rotenberg (Deborah Feinstadt), Karen Rotenberg (Don Englert) and Danny Urbas.

Uncle to Rebecca, Avie and Melanie Englert. Daniel was a respected osteopath and gifted healer.

He lived his life according to his own highest holistic principles and fought a valiant battle for two years against cancer in the same way.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to Ziv and Eric Cohen, Dr. Avie Ronen and to our cousin Lewis Brown, for their loving care of Daniel.

Daniel will be remembered in a memorial near his home in Israel, on the beach where he loved to run and swim and also in Toronto at a private family memorial.

We love you, Daniel, and you will be greatly missed.

Robert Richard Spencer in his 69th year on January 11, 2014, at St. Joseph's Health Centre Toronto, has gone home.

He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Spencer, brother of Joan Long (Fred), son-in-law of Mary Whitwell, brother-in-law of Shirley Randle (David) Lois Whitwell and Walter Whitwell. Robert was involved in Scouting since the age of 8 and received his 50 year Service Award in Scouting and the Bar to the Silver Acorn.

He taught for 45 years for the Toronto School Board at King Edward Public School.

Funeral Service on Friday, January 17th.

Past Master (1997) of St. Andrew's Lodge, No. 16, Toronto Don Valley District and Assistant Grand Chaplin (2002) in Canada for the Province of Ontario A.F. and A.M.

Passed away after a brief illness in Toronto.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years Marilyn. He leaves his beloved partner, Gail Miles. Brian is the best father that son Bruce (Donald Belisle) and daughter Jennifer (Glenn Kho) could have ever wished for, and they are forever grateful to have had him as such a large part of their lives. Brian cherished his granddaughters, Emily and Jillian, and they will miss him terribly. He also leaves behind much-loved sister-in-law Diane Cave, who was more sister than in-law. Predeceased by his sister, Mona and his brother James (Chris). His nieces, Janice and Sandra, Stephanie and Vera, as well as Doreen Clark-Steen will all miss his love and gentle, wise counsel.

Brian will also be missed by his extended family, Stephen and Laura Miles and their children Liam and Jack, and Kate Miles and her husband Kirk Strilec. He will be missed by Toronto District 3 Senior Wardens Group, The Pillars with whom he loved socializing and travelling, as well as his large Scarborough Board of Education extended family with whom he spent his entire career.

Perhaps the only thing that Brian loved even nearly as much as his family and friends was music, and in particular, singing.

Brian was active from a young age in the church choir of St. John the Baptist Norway Anglican Church, the Toronto Men's Teacher's Choir, the Scarborough Teacher's Choir and most recently, the church choir of St. Dunstan of Canterbury Church, singing up until the Sunday before he was taken from us.

Funeral January 16th 11 a.m., St. Dunstan's of Canterbury Church, 56 Lawson Road, Scarborough.

The interment will take place in the summer months in the family’s home town of Forest, ON followed by a celebration of Madeline’s life.

Our much loved Zelma passed away quietly at 7:20 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at The Princess Margaret Hospital.

For days she quietly communicated with her family and affectionate nursing staff and doctors, continuing with her gentle manner and grace. She was a flower from Miraflores, Peru and was destined to come to Canada and love this country. She leaves her two children Madeline and Lucas with abundant love and memories.

Passed away at Hillsdale Estates on Friday, January 10th, 2014, in her 88th year.

Predeceased by her husband Robert “Bobby”.

Loving mother of Henry (Wendy), Annie Knight, and Alex (Terry).

Grandmother of Dean, Angela, Chris, Elaine, Tara, Melissa, Heather, David, and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Jean Kelly.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
