Our beloved, beautiful baby boy Eric was taken from us suddenly and much too soon. 

Eric, your spirit was obviously too big for this world and God needed to take you home to be an Angel. You will be clearly and forever missed by your Mom (Theresa), Dad (Jake), Sister (Hailey) and Grandparents (Norma, Gord and Dianne). Your cousins (David, Sarah, Emma, Liam, Emily, Stephanie, Brandon, Jeffrey and Cassie) and your Aunts and Uncles (Steve and Sharon, Mike and Josie, Sean and Tammy, Paul and Jacquie and Steve and Corrine) will forever have you in their hearts. You will be missed by so many of your friends, especially Ryan and Darren. Your second family, the Del Zottos, will always have a place in their hearts for you. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace our sweet Angel. Your Grandpa Ray is by your side. 

Funeral Service will be held in Scarborough, on Sunday, December 28th.

Passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at North York General Hospital, Violet Rose Bloxam, nee Richardson, at the age of 78.

 Beloved wife of Reginald Bloxam. Loving mother of Paul Bentley (Linda) and Mike Bentley (Diane).

Caring grandmother of Sarah Mae, Brian, David and Steven. Dear sister of June Seymour (Joe), the late May Bryant (Ken) and the late Jack Richardson. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Although we all hoped Vi would recover from her most recent illness, as she had many times before, it was not to be.

Memorial service will be held in Agincourt, on Saturday, December 27th.

Donations made to the if Canadian Cancer Society in Vi's honour would be most appreciated by her family.

September 27, 1936 – December 20, 2014

Passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital with family and friends at his side. Survived by his wife of 53 years Maureen, sister Margaret Reddy, daughter Anne and son Paul (Caroline) and his grandchildren Juliana, Molly, Daniel and Jack. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and moved to Dublin shortly thereafter.

He graduated with an engineering degree from Trinity College (Dublin) and immigrated to Canada in 1959. He worked for the Ministry of Transportation his whole career until he retired in February 1993.

Jim was an active volunteer at Blessed Trinity Church, where he belonged to the Knights of Columbus and ran the ShareLife program for many years. His passion was running and he completed several marathons including here in Toronto, Boston and Dublin. Jim was a gentleman in every sense of the word.

His Irish wit and sarcasm will be missed. Till we meet again Jim "Hasta la vista baby"!

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Ave., north of Finch). Jim will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Brother of the late Glendon and Ronald Flintoff. Missed by sister-in-law Ilean Flintoff and several nieces and nephews.

Doug was a World War II veteran of the RCOC, a founding member of St. Joseph The Worker Church, member of St. Joseph The Worker Knights of Columbus Council #9989, member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch #43) and of St. Joseph’s Seniors Group.

Survived by her son Scott and his wife Diane and her daughter Jill and her husband Bruce Wright (predeceased), grandchildren Kelly and Robert, Erin, Leah, Danielle and Bobby and great-grandson Evan.

Joan enjoyed her many summers at Cedar Springs and Hilly Lake and also her winters in Florida.

At Mackenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill, we lost our special dad and grandpa at 95 years young, with those he loved and who love him comforting him at the end.

Blessed with an enquiring mind, eager to embrace new ideas and technology, proud World War II veteran, successful businessman, crossword puzzle enthusiast, opera fan, never taking "no" for an answer, his wisdom and good sense will be much missed.

Darling husband of Anne in 72 years of happiness and contentment, dear father of daughters Ellen and Judy and father-in-law of Ernest Greenfield, doting Grandpa Mack of Laura and Aaron, adored brother of the late Harry and Louis and the late Rose Silverman and surviving sisters, Jennie Berke and Elsie Dawson, brother-in-law to Ruth Gordon and the late Sid Silverman, Al Berke, Cal Dawson and Ethel Gordon, respected uncle of his many nieces and nephews.

Loving father of James Clarke Hepburn and Tracey Suzanne McMichael. Grandfather of Samantha, Jesse, Cole, Holly and Cameron, Cole and Connor. Also dearly loved by daughter-in-law Kathy Gormley and son-in-law Scott McMichael.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his many friends and colleagues at York Central Hospital.

Died peacefully on Saturday, December 20th at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, Ontario.

John was the son of Dr. Jack P. N. Holden (Toronto) and Elizabeth (Carney) Holden (Sault Ste. Marie). John was born in Brockville, Ontario but lived his younger years in Ottawa until he moved to Toronto to take up his career as a high school teacher.

He will be so very sadly missed by his family: heart-broken wife, Kathryn (Simpson, formerly of Listowel, Ontario) for whom he has provided a verbal view of the world for many years; dear daughter, Kristy Holden of Toronto, who has given much reflective support and Jason Gatt (Thea and Harriet) and grandson, Calder Holden-Lam, whose arrival put John into the delightful world of grandparenting; beloved son and wife, Dr. Reed Holden and Anna (Petrilli) of British Columbia. Reed's guidance and direction through the medical crisis were most sustaining. John was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. His love and commitment to their well-being was endless. He is survived by brothers Doug (Louise) of Ottawa and Bruce (Jaye), also of Ottawa; niece Selena (Kevin Lake), nephews Michael (Jamie) and Steve (Kim, Alex) Holden; many very special cousins and many wonderful friends and neighbours.

He was predeceased by Kathryn's siblings, sister-in-law Ruth Simpson-Zitnik-Hecker; sister- in-law Evelyn Simpson; and brother- in-law Alan Simpson. He is survived by Kathryn's nephews and nieces, John Zitnik (Samara) of Florida, USA; and nieces Deanna Zitnik- Palmer, son Domenic; Josey (Adam White); Jeannette Hecker; Julia Hecker and daughter Cecilia, all of California, USA.

Also surviving is loving sister-in-law, Dorothy. John received his undergraduate degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, followed by a M.Ed. at OISE, Toronto and a Dip. C. S. at the Institute of Child Study, Toronto. He spent his 32 year teaching career with the Scarborough Board of Education as a high school teacher, a psychometrician and a Kindergarten to Grade 13 Guidance Teacher. He truly enjoyed helping students achieve their goals.

Cremation will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery; there will be a memorial service in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, John's family would very much appreciate donations to the Foundation Fighting Blindness Canada (, an organization where he volunteered for many years that is dedicated to finding cures for eye diseases, such as the one his wife Kathryn lives with, or a charity of your choice.

Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Margaret (née Bateman), his sons John and Ian, his marvelous daughters-in-law Ghislaine McDayter and Ann Marie Murphy and his grandchildren Sasha, Claire, Ciara and Aidan.

Greatly missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Pearl. Forever cherished by his son Phillip (Molly) and his daughter Karen.  Loved by his grandchildren Sarah, Philip and Lauren.

Predeceased by his daughter Kim (Scott Middleton).

Harry was a proud former member of the 1st and 6th British Airborne Divisions.

Cremation has taken place.

Died peacefully at home on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the age of 85. 

Daughter of the late Letitia and Ernest A. McCulloch, beloved wife and best friend of William, very proud mother of David and his wife Lynn (Markland) of Ottawa, Laurie of Toronto, and Richard and his wife Sue (Morris) of Edina. Adored grandmother of Douglas, Ian, Annie and Margie. Cherished sister of Ernest (Bunny) and Margaret (Margie).

Will be immensely missed by her nieces Alison and Lee, nephew Dan, and many more relatives and friends who were part of her life. Special thanks to Benedict Garcia, who assisted Laurie, in tirelessly caring for her over the last two years of a prolonged illness.

Tottie was an honorary member of the Lambton Golf and Country Club where she was a lifelong student of golf, enthusiastic curler, and bridge player.

She attended Havergal, and graduated in psychology from Trinity College, University of Toronto. She loved to travel and was lucky to visit, with her husband Bill, many countries around the world. She enjoyed her summers since childhood at her family cottage, Camp Armac, on Ahmic Lake where lifelong wonderful memories were made Tottie will be missed incredibly by all who were fortunate to know her. For her, life was always an adventure and she made the most of every moment she could.

The funeral service will be held at St. George's on-the-Hill, 4600 Dundas St. W., on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 o'clock.
