Survived by 6 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

Elmer was a man of many talents; a commercial artist, avid prize winning photographer, model train enthusiast and a lover of dancing.

Over 39 years of service with Goodyear Canada where he enriched so many lives.

A veteran and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 582. He had a very giving personality and he will be dearly missed by many.

Funeral service will be held in Port Credit on Saturday September 13th . Private Interment.

Desmond was survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mildred (Adella) and his son Mark.

Desmond will be deeply missed by family and friends.

A celebration of Desmond's life will be held in Oakville on Saturday, September 13th, followed by interment.

After interment, a reception will take place at the Graham residence.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Pleasant Manor in Virgil, Ontario, at the age of 87.

Lou retired as a locomotive engineer from the CNR in 1986.

He was the beloved husband of the late Bonnie Gulley (nee Richardson).

Also the loved father of Louise (Ken Thompson) and Steven (Susan).  He was a very proud grandfather (Poppa) to Matthew (Jeanette), Daniel, Jamey (Whitney) and Tim (Aisha) and great-grandfather to Makenna.

He was predeceased by his sister Jean Gibson.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Pleasant Manor for their care and concern over the years. 

Funeral will be held in Shelburne, on Wednesday, September 10th.

Dee worked at the Willowdale Animal Hospital for the past five years and had planned to be a spokesperson for Colon Cancer Canada once she had succeeded in winning her battle against cancer.

Dee began her journey on August 23, 1964 and went out in a “Blaze of Glory” on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital.

Dee will be greatly missed by her partner and love of her life, Andy Holub; daughter Hayley Eikens and partner Lucus Martin; son Joshua Eikens and partner Leanne Smith; mother Rena Brown and stepdad Eric Schaffhauser; father Fred Fisk and stepmom Carla; sister Cheryl Fisk; brother Craig Fisk and his wife Cecila, and their children James, Lauren and Ryan, beloved childhood friend, Eleanor Cook and all her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Passed peacefully with family by her side at North York General Hospital.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Marvin Harrison.

Loving mother to Jay (predeceased) and wife Rita and Lee and wife Jennifer. Sandra was the loving and proud grandmother of five very special grandchildren: David, Daniel, Nicholas, Emily and Jacob. Loving sister to Lorraine, Patricia and John (predeceased). She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness, not only to her family, but to everyone she knew.

As a retiree of Bell Canada, Sandy will be deeply missed by her lifelong friends.

Hockin_ShelaghAt home with her family, Shelagh passed away September 6, 2014 after a long illness.

Always dignified, always hopeful, always beautiful. An inspiration to many, particularly those with cancer and cancer-related illnesses.

Shelagh is survived by her husband Gerry, and treasured and missed by her daughter Lyndsay and son Brad. Dearly missed by her sister Sandra Pickering and brother Lloyd Bradley.

Shelagh was a gold medalist CPA whose career at Horne LLP. Chartered Accountants in Burlington spanned over 25 years. Her greatest satisfaction came from her family, gourmet cooking, sewing and before her illness, rollerblading.

Best friend to her black lab “Mo”, before his passing. Shelagh is remembered by many for her generosity and kindness of heart.

A private family cremation service has taken place.  Memorial Service to be held at Lowville United Church, 5800 Guelph Line, Burlington on Thursday, September 11th at 11:30 a.m.

Hodak_GeorgePassed away at home in Oakville surrounded by his family on September 6, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.

He was 81 years old and leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Katica, his daughters Anna Hodak and Lillian Ivankovic, his son-in-law Vlado and his grandchildren Ivana and Peter Ivankovic.

He was a fighter to the end and would not go gently into the night. May he find his peace and know he is loved and not forgotten. He will live forever in our hearts.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Croatian Parish, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, Ontario, L6H 7K2 on Wednesday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow.

Peacefully at his home on September 6, 2014 at age 83 following a battle with coronary disease and diabetes.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nicole, Eric, Vanessa, Tyler, Andrew and great-grandson Nathan.

Bing will always remembered as a proud, determined and resourceful man.

He was also always looking forward in everything he did and in many instances was ahead of his time, but always driven by his devotion to his family.
