Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 24th, 2013 in his 82nd year.

Loving husband of the late Dorothy Anne (2012), and beloved father of Scott and Janet, Glen and Michele, Blair and Meri Elen and Heather and Andrew Mitchell.

Much loved Grandpa of Michael, Jason, Ryan, Alexa, Ava, Brooke and Jack. Dear brother of Bob and Sylvia Daniel.

Harry practiced civil litigation in St. Catharines from 1960 to his retirement. He was bestowed the Queen's Council and was a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers as well as being called to the New York State Bar. Harry served on many boards and charitable organizations, with some of the positions he held being: Chairman of the Board at Ridley College, Niagara Parks Commissioner, President of St. Catharines Golf & Country Club, President of the Golf Association of Ontario, and he served on the Royal Canadian Golf Association from 2007-2010.

Arrangements out of St. Catharines.  Funeral Service to celebrate Harry's life will be held on Friday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, 83 Church Street. A private family interment will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Loving mother to Jennifer (Brian Grant) and Andrew (Jen Wright)-- and superb grandmother to Aki, Lily and Riley.

Remembered also by step-daughters Laura (Hugh Hamilton) and Julie (Stephen Yeo), along with their children; Ryan, Madeline, Meaghan, and Emma.

Passed away peacefully at the West Vancouver Care Centre on December 24, 2013.

Predeceased by husband David Llewellyn in 1976 and daughter Catherine in 2004, Jean is survived by daughter Brenda (Verne) and her much loved grandchildren Tyler, Brad and Vanessa as well as many family and friends in Ontario, Montreal and British Columbia. Born on June 7, 1918 Jean lived most of her life in Toronto.

In 1989 along with daughter Catherine she moved to North Vancouver to be closer to family there.

Jean will be especially remembered for her sense of fun, her graciousness and her great rapport with the many young people who were in her life.

 The family would like to thank the amazing people at the West Vancouver Care Centre who provided such loving care for Mom.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Memorial Boal Chapel, Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver.

Our loving mother, was "Promoted to Glory" just before Christmas.

She will be missed by the many people whose lives she enriched with her care, teaching and assistance.

The Holy Spirit was her guiding light.

She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church on Spadina Road and a longtime area resident. She raised her family in Markham, ON. Her body returns to her Maritime roots to be buried in Nova Scotia. She is survived by Mel Kinsman (Brother), Winifred MacDonnell (sister) and Muriel Chambers (sister).

Her memory is cherished by Sharon (daughter) and Frank Johnson, Stephanie (daughter) and Yves Poirier, Paul (son) and Jean Ostrander and her grandchildren: Rae, Greg, Kara-lee, Daniel, Melody, Nathan, Joel and her great-grandchildren Allyson and Mackenzie.

The Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday, January 27, 2014. The Service is at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Towers, 877 Yonge St., Toronto, ON M4W 3M2 in the Chapel on the B2 level.

The family requests that any donations in memory of Gladys Ostrander be directed to International Teams Canada. Funds will be used to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of refugees in 25 countries.

Suddenly at home on Tuesday, December 24th, 2013 in her 90th year.

Gone to join her husband Cecil (Sid).

Loving mother of Carole Brewer, Ronald and Joyce. Dear grandmother of Diane (Vito) Martino, Lisa and the late Michael. Great-grandmother of Natasha, Julia, Nicholas, Madison and Becca.

Survived by her sister Lorraine Clair, sister-in-law Virgie (Jim) Taylor, brother-in-law Paul (Helen) and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Catherine and brothers Johnny, James Edward, Gerard, Vincent and her sister Mary.

Friends and family will be received at the THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 96 West Street, Brantford on Sunday, December 29th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm with Parish Prayers at 8:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray Street on Monday December 30th at 11:00 am. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Beloved wife of Hank for 54 years.  Loved mother of Jeanette (Mark) Lee, the late Andy Sybring, Denise (Doug) Seigel, and Michelle (Edward) Greier.

Dear Oma of Katelyn (Aaron), Andrew (Charlie), Brittany, Alexis, and Haleigh. 

Private interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens.  A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 616 Dundas St. E., Waterdown (at Kerns Rd.) on Saturday, December 28th at 11 a.m., Rev. Bruce Adema officiating.  Reception to follow in the church hall.
