CHAVES, Fulgencio Fernandes - Obituary for Grandpa - Fulgencio Fernandes Chaves was born on June 18, 1938 in Porto, Portugal and passed on March 17, 2021.
He was the youngest of six children. He predeceased all of his siblings and often expressed his loneliness when he was the last one standing.
He survived growing up in a poor family during a time of war and dictatorship. Grandpa was an incredible man who worked very hard to provide for his family, but felt he had to leave his beloved Portugal in search of a better life for his family.

TAYLOR, Kenneth John - Kenneth John Taylor, 76, born March 27, 1944. On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away suddenly and is now reunited with his parents and sisters, and resting in the arms of his Saviour Jesus.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catherine (Irene) Taylor. His son, Neil Taylor and daughter, Tracy Taylor Peron. His daughter in law, Suu Taylor and son in law, Marcus Peron.
His 8 loving grandchildren, Gabrielle (Brie) Taylor, Cathryn Peron, Aurora (Rori) Taylor, Benjamin Peron, Ciaran Peron, Jasper-Addison Taylor, Amelia Peron, and Alexander Peron.

JUDGE, Sister Mary Anthony (Ruth Mary) IBVM - Sister Mary Anthony entered eternal life at Presentation Manor, Toronto, on March 16, 2021, a month short of her 102nd birthday.
She joined the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Loretto Sisters) in 1941 and began her extensive ministry of education in 1946, as teacher and principal at numerous schools in Toronto (St. James, St Edwards, St. Mary of the Angels, St. Bonaventure) St. Peter and Paul, Hamilton, Fruitland, Chrystal Beach and Niagara Falls. She served for 6 years as local Superior of Loretto Abbey.
