VARRIANO, Antonio - February 28, 1941 - March 16, 2021
It is with unbelievable sadness that the family of Antonio Varriano announces his passing.
He arrived in Toronto as a young man from Vinchiaturo, Italy.
Proud of his heritage and close family upbringing, he worked hard, laughed loud and loved unconditionally.
His generosity had no end.
As children we benefited with gifts of copious amounts of ice cream, Sunday night rides in his new car to MacDonald's, or cash tucked into back pockets.
As adults, we never left his home without a sample of home-cured cheese, bottles of expertly made wine and various types of sausage, pancetta or his hot pepper oil.
