TRIBBLE, Lillian (Kay) Kathleen - March 17, 1929 – March 15, 2021
Kay passed away in her sleep Monday, March 15, 2021, and now rests in peace with her beloved husband Bill and son Brad.
She will be profoundly missed by her daughter Carol (Dave) Anderson and granddaughters Meghan and Leigh Anderson.
She is also the cherished sister to Ray (Evelyn), Reg (Maureen), Steve (deceased) (Feri) Adams and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends smile remembering you as a classy lady with a sharp sense of humour, "Sassy Grandma" as your granddaughters called you.
Family was everything to you.

LOBERG, Bryan Edwin - (October 7, 1964 - March 14, 2021) - It is with unbelievable sadness that we announce the death of Bryan Loberg, peacefully at his home in Toronto following complications from neuropathy.
He is survived by his parents Norm and Carol Loberg, sister Liz Burns (Steve), niece Hailey and nephew Jake.
Loving Aunts Ann Hilborn (Jim) and Lynda Loberg, Cousins Mike Hilborn (Anissa), Chris Hilborn (Eve)and nieces and nephews Elia, Luca, Adam and Mac.
Bryan grew up in Lorne Park and attended Lorne Park High School and gathered a wonderful group of friends. After graduation he lived in Vancouver, attended UBC before starting and operating a flower shop called “The Botanically Hip." He spent a lot of time working in the Caribbean with “Go Vacations” then finally settled in Toronto.

SHORE, Neil - On Sunday, March 14th, 2021, Neil Shore died unexpectedly yet peacefully surrounded by his loving wife Edith, son Harry and daughter Candice.
He was the beloved son of the late Reuben and Helen Shore and the caring brother of the late Marilyn Norris.
His granddaughters Kaitlyn, Charlee and Joey will always remember the fun loving Zaidy that he was. He will be greatly missed by, his daughter in law Julia, his son in law Dave, the Greenberg and Bartman families.

BROWN, Samuel Martyn - It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear father Samuel Martyn Brown on March 14th, 2021.
Samuel Brown was born on September 20th, 1951 in Toronto, ON.
He is survived by his loving family and partner Roslyn Stockley. Donato is reunited with his grandson Tommy La Viola (1999).

SULIT, Raul Paras - Raul Paras Sulit, 86 years old, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 14, 2021 due to old age and a lingering illness.
Raul is survived by his loving wife Priscila Mendoza Sulit, his adoring children Raul Mendoza Sulit (Betty Arcilla Sulit), and Arnel Mendoza Sulit (Teresa Paguio Sulit), and his beloved grandchildren Dorothy Anne Sulit, Louis Sulit, Gabriel Sulit, and Aira Lorraine Sulit.
He was born in Manila, Philippines on June 12, 1934 to Jose R. Sulit and Loreto Paras. Raul attended the University of the Philippines College of Engineering, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy.

ROCHA, Luis Carlos Pereira - Luis Rocha, 65, of Toronto, Ontario passed away on March 14, 2021.
Loving husband to Liduina Rocha and father to his beloved daughter Diana, her husband Nelson and grandfather to his wonderful grandchildren Damian and Dante.
Luis came to Canada in the 1970’s to look for work and fell in love with Liduina shortly thereafter. His hobbies were singing and dancing, playing music, fishing, travelling, BBQing for family and friends and he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
Luis studied carpentry in Portugal. He had two businesses, finish carpentry and a pet store which were two things he loved; animals and building.

SABATINI, Filomena Anna - (1940 - 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dearest Filomena Sabatini. Filomena passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters, on the afternoon of March 14th, 2021.
Filomena was a devoted wife to her husband of 61 years, Alberto, and mother to her daughters, Mary (Frank), Rosanna (Mauro), Daniela (Dwight) and Antonella (Virgilio).
Nonna Mena was adored by her 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Sammy (Erica), Josie (Loreto), Caroline (Lucas), Sabrina (Dante), Joseph (Jessica), Annie (Vincent), Andrew (Stefania), Bianca, Eric, Sofia (Jordan), Laura (Gabriel), Lisa, David, Valerie and Giovanna.
She is survived by her brother, Vincenzo D'Abruzzo, and sisters in-law Govanna D'Aruzzo, Teresa Sabatini and Vincenza Sabatini.

CHEDDIE, Rita - Daughter of Ramsook and Subhagia was born on February 5th, 1933. She was called home on March 14, 2021 at the age of 88.
She was a loving mother to nine children – John, Cheryl, Aubrey, Ronald, Paul, Karen and sons who left the earth too soon Patrick, James and Walter.
Her love extended to her children who were joined by marriage Jennifer, Butch, Donna, Ann, Sandra, Monica and our departed Yvette and Tony.

ZOURBANOS, Jean (Ioannis) - With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of Jean peacefully at the Hellenic Home for the Aged on March 14, 2021 at the age of 101.
Jean was loved and cherished by his wife, Kiki for 62 loving years, his son Dennis, his daughter-in-law Cathy, his grandchildren John and Nicholas, and his remaining siblings, Spiro(Litsa), Eleni and Irene.
Jean immigrated to Canada from Zakynthos, Greece in 1953. He was a successful entrepreneur running a restaurant and catering business and later operating a taxi business.

Also survived by sister-in-law Maureen Julian, nephews Kevin and Michael, niece Suzanne, her cousins George Merner and Maxine Kleber, and their families.

We lost the brave and strong woman that made our beautiful lives possible.
Soultana succumbed to her final breath on Sunday, March 14th, at Scarborough Grace Hospital.
Our dear mother and yiayia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children Tasia, Peter (Giorgina) and Bill; her grandchildren Tania (Chris), Stefan (Stacie), Yiannis (Ashley), Marissa, Alexandra and Paul; and her great-grandchildren Cali, Mason, CJ and Andreas.
Soultana was predeceased by her husband Yiannis, her son-in-law JJ and her brothers and sisters.
She was born in Kastoria, Greece, married in 1945, and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1957.

STAPLES, Andrew William - (August 29, 1964 – March 14, 2021)
With tremendous sadness we announce that Andrew passed away peacefully, at Royal Victoria Hospital, on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 after a battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his life partner Andras Molnar, along with his brothers James and Bruce (Ross) of Toronto, ON.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Beth of Kingston, ON.
Together with his life partner, Andrew loved spending time working in his garden and tending to the incredible flower garden they lovingly created.
His love of music eventually led him to St. Barnabas Anglican Church in St. Lambert, QC, where he played the organ and led the choir.

MAK-HO, Gee-Kit - 94, passed away March 14, 2021 peacefully in her sleep, in the Hill House Hospice, with her family by her side.
She was born 1926 in Hong Kong, survived World War II, married to WC Mak, and later immigrated to Canada.
She liked cooking, with many secret recipes written in a small black book. Despite many attempts by her grandson, the “grandma taste” has yet to be reproduced.
She will be dearly missed by her two sons, Raymond and Long, her daughter-in-law Ying, and grandsons Sun and Heng.

HUDSON, Frances Ann - Passed away on March 14, 2021 in Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto just a few weeks short of her 90th birthday.
She was born in Annandale, NSW Australia on April 7, 1931, the eldest child of Francis and Monica Hudson and older sister to John and David, both of whom predeceased her.
Ann, as she was known to her many friends in Canada, commenced and completed her nursing training, including a specialty in midwifery at Mater Misericordiae Hospital in North Sydney, Australia.

SKENE, Donald Christopher - 1943 - 2021 Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 14.
A humble and gentle man of many talents and interests, mostly self-taught, Chris enjoyed a rich and varied career in the music, recording and broadcast industries.
As an accomplished guitarist, he was sought after by other well known musicians.
From having his own jingle company to voicing ads for Heineken and many other international brands, hosting a radio show in Thunder Bay to reading the World at Six on CBC Radio, engineering albums for many top Canadian artists including Anne Murray and Gordon Lightfoot to mixing the first Imax movie, Chris did it all with pace, grace and aplomb.
