GRUER, Colonel Barbara Jean (nee Voysey) - Colonel Barbara Jean Gruer, nee Voysey, was born in Montreal to William and Jean Voysey on March 4, 1932.
She was attracted to the Salvation Army through the Girl Guide Movement and became an active member of the Park Extension Corps. Barbara entered the Salvation Army Training College (Seminary) at 84 Davisville Avenue, Toronto, as a Cadet in the Shepherds Session and was Commissioned as a Lieutenant in 1954.
She began her service in several Corps appointments followed by a term on the Evangelistic Field Unit and in Divisional work. She was then appointed to the staff of the Training College for six years and to the St. John's College for Officer Training where, for the next four years she was the Women's Chief Side Officer and Bible Teacher.
After a brief period of service in the Southern California Divisional Headquarters, Barbara returned to Canada where for the next seventeen years until her marriage to Lieut. Colonel David H. Gruer on January 5th, 1991, she was Private Secretary to the Territorial Commander of the Canada and Bermuda Territory.

KELLY, Sister Mary Mona, OLM - (May 11, 1930 – January 11, 2021) - Sr. Mona Kelly died on January 11, 2021 at Providence Healthcare after a lengthy illness.
Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Evelyn (Murphy) and brother Doug, Mona is loved and greatly missed by sister Evelyn O’Neil (the late Patrick), brothers Bernard (the late Betty) and James (Gloria), her sister-in-law Audrey, nieces and nephews and her sisters in the Congregation of Our Lady’s Missionaries.
Mona was born in Saint John, New Brunswick where she attended school. She entered Our Lady’s Missionaries in 1951 and studied nursing at St. Joseph School of Nursing, Hotel Dieu Hospital Cornwall, Ontario.

BUGLEDICH, Julian Attila - Julian Attila Bugledich passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021, in his 70th year, after a long and valiant fight with cancer.
Loving husband of Margaret (nee Richardson) for 45 years. Beloved father of Adam (Michelle) and Sean (Deborah). Very proud grandfather of Aaliyah (dec), James, Ellie, Tara and Alexander.
Brother of Gabriella and Eva. The only son of Hungarian immigrants (late Joseph and Anna) who came to Australia in 1950 with just two suitcases.
Julian was always a true professional from the Hungarian/Australian Club in Canberra to hotels in many countries and consultancy. He built himself up to a high level in the hospitality/tourism industry through hard work, determination, perseverance and tenacity.

BURELLO, Angelo - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Angelo Burello, on January 11, 2021. Angelo was called from us at the age of 82, suddenly with heart and lung disease.
Angelo was born in the town of Maierato, Catanzaro, Italy on July 4, 1938, the second child of four for Domenico Burello and Cattolica Direnzo. He immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto where he married and raised two daughters.
Angelo, devoted husband of Maria (predeceased). Cherished father of Silvana and Albina. Loving nonno of Robert and Isabella Emanuelli.

DEROSA, Rosalba - It is with deep sadness our family announces the passing of our dearly loved mother Rosalba on Monday, January 11, 2021 at William Osler Health Centre – Etobicoke at the age of 82.

Sadly we announce Doug’s passing, leaving behind his loving wife Angie, loving daughters Leesa (Jamie Pietrkiewicz), Annice, (David Passafiume), sisters Jacqui and Julie, and adored grandchildren Daniel, Brittany, Alisa, Madison, Jenna and Matthew.
Predeceased by his first wife Patience (1988), brothers Leonard, Richard, Teddy and Peter, and parents Victor and Betty Baldwin.
Doug spent the first 6 years of his life in London, England surviving WW2 and Hitler’s bombings.
Grammar School, Brunel College and working for Gresham Transformers Ltd gave him a life’s love of electrical engineering.

With a heavy heart and profound sadness, the family of James Nathaniel Samwaru would like to announce his passing on January 11th, 2021 after a brief illness of natural causes at his home in Scarborough, surrounded by loved ones.
James Samwaru affectionately known as “Buddy Nato” and “Nato” is survived by his wife (of 65 years) Elsie Samwaru, 7 of 9 children, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grands.
James was born in Anna Catherina (West Coast of Demerara) but grew up in La Grange Village on the West Bank of Demerara in Guyana.

SEEDS, Dorothy - 'I’m so excited which was her favourite song’ ... and with that we say goodbye to our Mom Dorothy Seeds, who in her 93rd year passed away peacefully in her sleep the evening of January 11th, 2021.

Sara was a warrior, a woman who's day-to-day life shattered numerous odds.
When Sara was first diagnosed with cancer and the rare heart condition which would eventually take her precious life, she was given mere months to live, Sara did not take that sitting down.
She knew that with optimism, the love for her family and friends, and the sheer unwavering will to live.
She would find a way to fight, keeping her alive for 11 unexpected, but much appreciated years.
