CZERWINSKI, Mary - It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of Mary Czerwinski, on December 23, 2021, at the age of 90.
She was the heart and soul of our family.
Devoted, caring and loving wife to Joseph for 62 wonderful years.
Beloved mother of Joe and his wife Janet, Jo-Ann, and John and his wife Mary. She will forever be cherished by the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Megan, Lauren, Grant and Evan.
The daughter of Leon Choma (deceased) and Anna Choma (deceased), sister to Julie and George (deceased), Mike (deceased), Morris and Denise, Leona and Walter (deceased) and Olesia (deceased).

GREEN, Nancy Ann Green - Age 89, died peacefully at Royal Terrace Nursing Home, in Palmerston, ON, with family by her side, on December 23, 2021.
Nancy was born in London, Ontario, on June 4, 1932, to Helen and Harry Archer.
Nancy was a devoted member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority throughout her life.
She cherished the lifelong friendships, blessings and adventures that the sorority brought her.
She also took great pride in teaching children during her time at the Montessori School in Etobicoke and enjoyed the friendship of staff, students and their parents.

She lived toward a future of peace and justice for all, prioritizing the well-being of children.
Nanny, daycare worker, nursery school teacher, her big heart did not stop there.

TROPEA, Francis William - February 7, 1922 – December 22, 2021
Our dear father, Francis William Tropea, died peacefully December 22, 2021 at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga.
Frank was born February 7, 1922, in Hamilton, Ontario to Joseph and Mary Tropea.
He graduated from Runnymede High School in 1938 and University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1943.
Frank served as a Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces during WWII, where he met and married Helen Marie Slater.
After the war, Frank practiced dentistry in Weston until he retired in 2002.

COYLE, Bernard - August 1, 1944 - December 22, 2021
With incredible sadness and broken hearts, Bernie's wife Kathleen (Kathy) and his son, Brendan, share this notice of Bernie's passing on December 22, 2021.
Although he was in the hospital, Kathy, Brendan and Brendan's wife, Kim, were able to spend time with him before he died.
Kathy was able to stay until the end.
In his own words, Bernie wanted everyone to know, "I've had a wonderful, rich life, full of love. I'm so lucky."
Educated as a chemical engineer at the University of Toronto (Class of 1966), he instead chose a career as an educator and served the students of Etobicoke for the entirety of his teaching career; first as a teacher of science at Royal York and Alderwood Collegiates, then for the majority of his career as the Head of Guidance at Silverthorn Collegiate.

McGOWEN, Carol Ann (nee McDERMOTT) - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Carol on December 22, 2021, at the age of 83.
Carol is survived by her loving spouse, Donald Velanoff and was much beloved by his family.
She was the heart and soul of her family of five children. Predeceased by her son David, she will be dearly missed by her children, Kelly (Bob), Janice (Alan), Drew (Andrea), Michelle (Brian) and daughter-in-law, Andrea.
She remained good friends and will be sadly missed by her former husband Ken and his partner, Mary. Gramma Carol was very proud of her 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Born in Toronto, the daughter of Thomas and Theresa McDermott, Carol was predeceased by her sister Joanie and brother Paul.

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Frances (Gallie) McDonald on the 22nd of December 2021.
She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her adoring family.
Predeceased by her parents Alan Edward Gallie and Mary Frances Mitchell, and sister Elizabeth Ann Gallie.
She is survived by her longtime partner Gary Rogers Gillies, sons David Charles Gallie McDonald and Christopher Edward Gallie McDonald, sister Brenda Louise Gallie, niece Frances Louise Nahanni Jewett, nephew Gordon Alan Edward Jewett and brothers-in-law Michael Jewett and Dougal McCreath.

KEKEDJIAN, Lucy - Passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 84.
She is remembered through her sons, Aris, Harry and their families.
Grandmother to Chloe, Brandon, Jacob, and Gabriella.

MCKHOOL, Eli Joseph - "It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time" Eli died peacefully at home in Toronto with his beloved wife Roberte (Nehma), children Gregory (Annemarie), Ingrid and Christopher (Catherine), and grandchildren Sophie, Elias and River by his side.
He leaves behind sisters Norma and Raymonde and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Eli and Najeeba and siblings Rose, George, Georgette, Laura, and Raymond.
Eli's parents immigrated from Lebanon around 1900, settling in Ottawa, where they opened a convenience store and later a modest restaurant called the Laurier Tea Room.

She had a passion for reading, word search puzzles and completing jigsaw puzzles with her daughters.

WILSON, Audrey Eleanor - April 3, 1923 – December 22, 2021
Audrey Eleanor Wilson passed away peacefully on the morning of December 22, 2021 at Amica Bayview Village in her 99th year.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, James (Jim) Francis Hicks Wilson.
Audrey grew up in Toronto and lived her entire life in a city she loved.
She attended North Toronto Collegiate and began work at MacLaren Advertising (McCann) when she finished school in 1941.
She worked in various positions at MacLaren prior to her retirement at the age of 70.
In 2007, MacLaren McCann dedicated their new training centre, "The Audrey Wilson Learning Centre".

They were golfing members at Chinguacousy Golf Club and later at Devil's Pulpit.

He started a business in 1967, McCutcheon Business Forms with partners Dave McCutcheon and Don Thompson.

PARISI, Giorgio - Our dear friend, Giorgio Parisi, passed away in his 78th year on December 21, 2021 after succumbing to cancer.
He is survived by his sister, Bruna Brighenti, brother-in-law, Luigi, nephew Matteo and niece, Michela, her husband, Christian and their son, Zeno, all residents of Northern Italy.
Giorgio touched many with his elegance, generosity and compassion.
Giorgio was independent, active and always positive as he didn't want to burden anyone.
His captivating smile on meeting people immediately set one at ease and eliminated any sense of negativity or stress you were experiencing. The gentle giant was so engaging you couldn't help but reciprocate.

Our father passed away peacefully at home just shy of his 98th birthday.
He was born in Brampton, ON and raised in the historic village of Meadowvale by his parents Douglas and Florence Hunter (nee Jackson).
He was predeceased by two wives, Edith (Sherman) and Orpha Garriock, brothers Jackson (Jack), Robert (Bob), and Edward (Ted), and grandchild Erin (Clifford).
Edith was the loving wife of Jim for 42 years and mother of his three children.
Survived by his three children, David (Joanne), Jane (Patrick), and Susan (H.R.).

He moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he graduated from the University of Toronto, School of Engineering.

BARRETT, Ted (Reginald) - It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Ted (Reginald Embleton) Barrett.
Ted passed away on December 21, 2021, in his 87th year, comfortably and peacefully in his sleep. In his youth, Ted was a tall, handsome man with a gift for numbers.
He began his career in commercial office real estate at A.E. Lepage.
After much success, he left the safety of an established company along with three colleagues to form Leasco Realty.
In the ten years following, Leasco grew and flourished into a formidable Toronto market leader, eventually to merge and become what is known today as Colliers International.

GIBSON, Jane Fraser (nee CANTLEY) - April 4, 1930 – December 21, 2021
Jane Gibson died peacefully in the early morning hours of her final sleep in Hamilton General Hospital.
She was not surrounded by family as her late husband, Colin Gibson and late son, also Colin Gibson were waiting in heaven to greet her.
Her daughter Julie Gibson Firestone was by her side until she nodded off that evening and her cat, Glendale, waited at home. To say that Jane lived a full life is an understatement. She loved everyone and thrived on engaging with people.
No one loved a prank better – April Fool's day was her favourite day of the year.

He will be deeply missed by his two sons Philip (Donna), Paul (Mary); four grandchildren, Ashley Anne (Tamas), Christopher (Jennifer), Michael and Rebecca and five great-grandchildren, Cindel, Willyn, Tamas, Jameson and Penelope.
Bob and Bette lived at the Royal Henley Retirement home for the last 7 years.
We would like to thank the Management and Staff at the Royal Henley for their kindness and help they have given us.
