HERCHAK, Norman - September 12, 1934 - November 24, 2021
Norman Herchak in his 88th year passed suddenly surrounded by his loving family at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland.
He will be missed by his wife Norma of 65 years and five children, Michael (Zona), Elizabeth (Gord), Stephen (Elizabeth), Michelle (Carlo), and Stephanie.
Proud grandfather of Rachel, Matthew, Hayden, and Chase and furry child Riley.
Norman was the President of Synthane Taylor Corporation which he built from the ground up.
Even more than that he enjoyed the many lasting friendships he made and the time spent with family.

MILNER, Robert (Bob) Eric Milner - Passed away at age 65 on November 24, 2021 at his home in Toronto of lung cancer.
Bob (Rob or Robby to his Toronto friends) was born February 01, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta to Marjorie Milner and Arthur “Bob” Milner who pre-deceased him.
Bob is survived by his brother Tom in Regina and Grant in Calgary.
Bob lived for many years in Christina Lake, BC and was married to Cindy where Bob was a independent businessman and found great joy in his “adopted” grandchildren.

MARRELLI, Ida - June 13, 1935 - November 24, 2021
We lost our world, and heaven gained an angel on November 24, 2021, when the gates opened to reunite Ida Marrelli with her beloved husband Giuseppe Marrelli in Heaven, at age 86.
Ida was strong, loving, funny, family oriented and showed love most through cooking and bringing everyone together around a table.
Ida's story is long and wonderful, coming over by ship to Halifax Pier 21 from Italy when she was 19 years old with nothing more than whatever she could fit in her travel trunk, and nearly died from seasickness.
She and Joe started to build a new life together.

AKESON, Glenn Michael - Passed away suddenly on November 24, 2021 at the Hamilton General Hospital.
Beloved husband of Petra (nee Bekkers) for 55 years.
Devoted dad of Lee-Ann (the late Luis), Brent (Valerie) and Kerri (Jason).
Doting grandfather to Macy, Mia, Griffin, Faith, Sydney and Noah.
Survived by sister Marilyn (the late Keith). Predeceased by parents Lester and Ella (nee Hayther) and his brother Warren.
Glenn worked in the steel industry for over 45 years and was also one of the founding partners of Green Valley Steel in 1995.

GIBBS, Bill - Bill went home November 24, 2021, at Georgian Bay General Hospital, after a long battle with Parkinson's.
He leaves behind his wife of 73 years, Shirley.
Daughter Linda and son-in-law Peter (Skala).
Grandsons Dave and Philip; and nephew Brad and wife Sharon Cook.
We are so appreciative of the caring and kindness shown Bill for many years by his PSW's, and for the compassion of the nurses and doctors at GBGH.

CORMIER, John - We are deeply saddened to share the passing of John Joseph Jean Robert Cormier, age 89, in the Veterans Wing at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, on November 24, 2021.
He was born on October 23, 1932, in Moncton, New Brunswick, and was the son of Edith (née Leblanc) and William Cormier; brother of Claude; and beloved husband of the late Thinh "Tina" Nguyen-Cormier.
John was extremely close with his aunts and uncle, Pauline, Marie and Father Fred, who helped raise him and nurtured his faith.
He passed peacefully in his sleep, after a lifetime of adventures, laughter and love. In 1950, John "Joe" joined the R22R, the "Van Doos", 1st Battalion in Quebec.

BRERETON, James - After living with Alzheimer's for several years, Jim passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the age of 77.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of over 55 years, Joy; sons John (Theresa), and Jason (Yuni); brother Hal (Diane); sisters-in-law Sandra (late Chuck) and Irene (late David); and brother-in-law Fred (Patricia).

IOI, Chizuru Patricia (nee TSUBOUCHI) - July 28, 1919, Vancouver, BC With broken hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother who was 102 years old.
Known as Pat or Chizu to many friends and family, mom was predeceased by our brother, Gerry (1951) and dad, Toshiyuki "Toe" (1978).
She will be deeply missed by her daughters Christine Field, Susan Langdon, and Janice (Jim), and grandchildren Nicholas, Vanessa, Spencer and Cameron, and many nieces and nephews.
The eldest of six, she was the beloved sister of Kiyoshi "Tom" (predeceased), Nobu Smart, Setsuko Oda, Kenji (predeceased), and Eiji (predeceased).

Bro Ron was born in Cape Breton and grew up with his family in Dominion, Nova Scotia. His parents were John Anthony MacIntyre of nearby Bridgeport, Cape Breton and Georgina McPherson of Springhill, Nova Scotia.
Bro Ron was predeceased by many of his siblings, Thelma Sanderson +, Matthew MacIntyre +, Daniel Joseph MacIntyre +, Betsy Mae Peori +, Olive Marie McNeil +, Catherine Ann Puschie +, and John Laurie MacIntyre +.
He is survived by his sisters Drucilla Roy and Agnes Westran along with many nieces and nephews, and his Capuchin Franciscan Brothers.

After an achingly short battle with cancer, Jim Flanagan passed away on November 23, 2021, at home, aged 62.
Jim was stoic and brave, offering comfort to others during his darkest hour. Born in St. John, NB, to Frederick James and Lorraine, and spending his childhood in Montreal, Jim was the golden boy, winning a baby beauty contest the same year the family's beagle won first place in a dog show.

Great-grandma to Cole and Kylie.
Predeceased by her brother Ian Coull and mother Maisie Coull.

ST. ONGE-MARTIGNAGO, Monique Alice - At age 65, died peacefully in hospital on November 22, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with many health issues.
Monique was born on May 3rd, 1956 in Timmins, ON. to Laurette Perrault & Roland St.Onge. She was the second youngest of nine children. Monique recently retired after dedicating over 25 years of hard work to Crestwood School which she took pride in, lived for and was very saddened to see it end.
Monique was predeceased by her loving husband Gino Martignago Sr. who passed July 9th, 1991 and her best friend Irene Andrighetti who passed December 22nd, 2010.
Monique is survived by her two beloved children Gina Blandizzi nee Martignago, Son-in-law Corrado Blandizzi, her son Gino Martignago Jr. and his wife Amanda Martignago.
