MacKINNON, Dorothy Elizabeth (nee SHACKLETON) - Passed away peacefully, in her 99th year, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, while in palliative care at Etobicoke General Hospital with family in attendance.
Born in Guelph, Ontario, as the second oldest of six children she will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as someone whose passion for life was evident in everything she did.
Dorothy served her country proudly as an airwoman with the RCAF during World War II and, after the war, went on to a distinguished career in banking which included being written up in the Financial Times.
As well, she became a licensed Realtor, established and taught her own ceramics group for 17 years, and was recognized as an extremely talented porcelain artist in her own right.

Much-loved mother of Mary, Aine, Sean, Patrick, Roncallie, Martin, Dermot, Jim, Joe, and the late Barbara.
Cherished grandmother to 26 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

CROWLEY, Joan - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom and precious nana.
Joan Elaine Crowley passed away, on October 12, 2021.
Joan was born in Windsor, on October 31, 1929, the beloved daughter of the late Jane and Arthur Reaume.
She was predeceased by husbands Joseph and Vincent, a loving mom to predeceased sons, John (Gale), Timothy (Phyllis), her surviving family, Bryan (Allison), Janet (Doug), Lisa (Doug), her 17 grandchildren, her 14 great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Joan's greatest love was her family.
Being an only child, she was beyond happy watching her family grow and grow and spending special times with them at the family cottage in Bobcaygeon.

Daughter of the late Charles Harrison Kehoe and Kathleen Byrne.
Loving mother of Paul (Anne), Ann Marie (Sean) and Carl (Martha). Grandma to Sam (Emily), Devon, Tom (Hayley), Rachel (John), Michael and Jonathan.
Mary graduated from Toronto Normal School in 1950 and taught for more than 33 years – 26 of them at St. Margaret Mary School in Woodbridge, Ontario.

SIDORKIEWICZ, Maria - Passed away on October 12, 2021 peacefully at Kensington Hospice.
Mom was known affectionately as “Babi.” She was loved and cherished by her family, daughters Irene and Terry (Vince), grandchildren Sherry (Victor), Tammy (Cathy) and Marc, and great grandchildren Lindsay, Justin, Bailey and Ashley.
Maria was predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years, Aleksander, in 1987.
Maria was born in Ukraine where she endured many hardships early in her life, including the famine (Holodomor), when her father and brother died of starvation.
In 1941 she was deported by cattle car to Germany where she was forced by the Nazis to work as a slave labourer, an ostarbeiter.

Our father was born on October 2, 1929, as he kicked off the Great Depression.
He was married for 68 years to his bride: Ruth nee Callaway and after one year, are reunited.
Predeceased by his parents George Gordon and Rachel Beveridge, his stepmother, Ella Gordon, his brother Jack, his sister, Margaret Heath, and son-in-law Brian McCracken.
He is survived by Mark and his wife Kathy; Laura McCracken Ebbrell and her husband John, and Jamie and his wife Kim.
Much loved Grampie of Jennifer, Adam, Emily, Alasdair and Andrew Gordon; James and John McCracken; and Alex and Connor Gordon. Great-grandfather to 8.

Paul was a well-loved and respected coach and teacher for over 45 years, affectionately known by his students as "The Corporal".
Paul lived a fulfilling life as a devoted father, grandfather, husband and friend.
He loved playing, coaching and watching all sports, as well as spending time with his family, most of all at the cottage in Muskoka.

SMITH, Joyce Amelia (Taylor) - Joyce passed away during the early morning hours of October 12, 2021 peacefully and painlessly. At the age of 102, she had lived a long life and was ready to go.
Behind her, she leaves her three loving children, Ron (Lorna), Nelson and Judy (Scott Rattray), seven grandchildren (Taylor, Cameron and Reid Smith, Cedric and Philip Smith, and Dean and Claire Rattray), three great-grandchildren (Madison and Isabella Smith, and Nathan Smith), not to mention friends and a lot of good memories.
Many, many thanks to Fre and the 7th floor nursing staff at The Wexford Residence for their loving care these past five years. We couldn’t have hoped for more.

CHAN, Cheung Hing 'Thomas' - Passed away peacefully on October 12, 2021 at Mackenzie Health, Richmond Hill. He was 103 years old.
Cheung Hing was born in Shanghai, China on August 21, 1918, at the end of World War I.
He was the youngest in a family of six sons.
At age 13, he left China for Hong Kong with his mother in pursuit of a more prosperous future.
In 1941, shortly before the Imperial Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, Cheung Hing married Wun Yue Choi at the age of 23.

CALPITO, Lucita Lomboy - With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, Lucita Lomboy Calpito.
She was home and with her family by her side, left us peacefully October 12, 2021.
She was 79.
Lucita was born to the late Severino and Esperanza Lomboy, June 4th 1942, in Naguilan, La Union, Philippines. She is the 3rd of 13 children.
She married the late Maj. Jose Calpito Sr. in 1969.

GORBET, Charlotte (Adelman) - June 28, 1916 - October 12, 2021
Charlotte (aka Mom, Bubby and MEGA) died peacefully, in the presence of her children, in her 105th year.
She enjoyed a magnificent birthday party with family and friends at the end of August and spent a happy Thanksgiving with family on October 11. She decided the timing and the manner of her death with the same positive attitude and competence with which she managed her life.
Charlotte was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a long career as a teacher in Welland, Ontario where she lived until 1993.

GENTILINI, Yolanda - (March 1, 1964 - October 11, 2021) - It is with the utmost heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and cherished Nonna.
Yolanda born to wonderful parents Ugo and Iride, who loved and adored their precious daughter, she had a older sister Gabriela, who is deeply saddened by her death.
Yolanda fought cancer with courage, grace and dignity; never complaining throughout her diagnosis and treatments. Although we are devastated by our loss, Heaven just gained an incredibly loved Angel.
