ANNIS, Robert “Bob” Franklin - July 23, 1941 – August 7, 2018 - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob Annis on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

Predeceased by his wife Mary Jo (August 2004), survived by his loving partner Lana Peck, children Elizabeth (Chris) and John (Angela).

Extremely proud grandfather of McAvoy, Emily, Carson, and Ella Rae.

Brother of Glenn (Regina), caring uncle of Melissa (Johnny) and Ashley (Robert) and new great-uncle to Elliot Michael and John Francis.

Bob was a retired elementary school Principal and an educator for over 30 years with the former Scarborough Board of Education.

He was a fan of live theatre, sports, boating, and a voracious reader.

A visitation will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, Markham on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 143 Main St N, Markham on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11am.

Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
