Leinster JeanetteLEINSTER, Jeanette Marie  - 1921 - 2018  Jeannette Marie Leinster, 97, of Moncton passed away very peacefully on August 7, 2018, at The Briarlea, Moncton, NB.

Born in Chapleau, ON, March 8, 1921 to Thomas and Celine (Legault) Valade, Jeannette married the late Gilford Leinster (1990) on June 13, 1942.

Jeannette is survived by her brother, Reg; her two children, Denis (Gail) and Margot (Mike Wood); four grandchildren, Jennifer (Colin), Kevin (Heather), Scott (Shaunna) and David (Colleen); eight great-grandchildren, Redmond, Quinn, Jude, Gavin, Sophie, Matilda, Elijah and Marty; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Jeanette was predeceased by her sister, Rita and brother, Louis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John of the Cross Church, 6890 Glen Erin Drive, Mississauga, ON, Saturday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in the parish hall, prior to mass, at 9:30 a.m.

A private interment for immediate family only will take place following mass. Reception details will be provided at the service. A gathering for Atlantic area family and friends will be announced separately.

Jeannette's family would like to thank The Briarlea for the outstanding care she received since early 2017.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to either of the Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Alzheimer Society.
