White PhilWHITE, Philip John - Passed away peacefully in his home, on Saturday, August 11, 2018, after a struggle with cancer at the age of 64.

Phil will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Terrie.

He will be deeply missed by his family: son Bryan and his wife Suzanne, daughter Stacey and her husband Tim, grandchildren, Julianna, Jocelyn, Kaelyn and Alison, parents Bob & Jean, and siblings, Paul (Sandy), Doug (Yogai), Laura (Don) and Tim (Lee).

Phil will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Phil and Terrie were married May 12, 1978. Not long after the births of their two children Phil bought his father’s chemical distribution business and turned it into a successful international manufacturing company.

Phil loved playing with his grandchildren, spending time with family and quiet times of contemplation strumming his guitar. He enjoyed playing squash in his younger days and traveling the world with friends.

Those of us who knew Phil have been touched by his kindness, patience, gentleness, wisdom, humour and generosity. He was a true gentleman and he will be deeply missed beyond what words can express.

A Funeral Service in memory of Phil will be held on Friday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m., at Cedarview Community Church, 1000 Gorham St., Newmarket, Ontario. There will be a reception to follow.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Phil to Organics 4 Orphans (https://organics4orphans.org/). Floral arrangements in Phil's memory should be sent to Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON, L4G6W8) by Thursday, August 16th at 5PM.
