Predeceased by his wife Micky and by his son Doug. Father to Wayne (Anne), Darlene and Dave (Anne).
Grandfather to Angela, Jenn, Melissa (Patrick), Steve (Alison) and Laura. Great-Grandfather to Liam, Olivia, Nora, Stella and Alec.
Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families.
He was a hard working man, generous when it came to helping others, and always ready for a good party.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane funeral home, Toronto, On, on Friday, August 24 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, 15 Church Lane, Thornhill, on Saturday, August 25 at 10am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
