Kent PhyllisKENT, Phyllis Ethel (nee WARING)  - Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Extendicare, Peterborough after a stroke at the age of 93.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Diane), Kerry (Sandy) and Kathryn (Ken), her grandchildren, Michelle (Mo) Von Roeder, Brad (Brenda), Amy (Graham) Tough and Dale Lehman.

As well as her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kyle Von Roeder and Bryson Tough.

Phyllis and Fred had a full life together for 57 years, with many dear friends.

Their passions were golf, square dancing, cards and travel. As a family, we had many camping adventures, followed by years of cottage memories. After Fred passed (2006), Phyllis continued to golf for another 7 years. Her physical decline was hard on her but her spirits lifted with the addition of great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received for visitation at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, Toronto, ON on Thursday, August 23rd from 12-2 p.m. Interment will take place immediately following visitation.

In lieu of flowers, for all the loving care provided, memorial donations to The Residents Council of Extendicare, 860 Alexander Ct., Peterborough, ON K9J 6B4, would be appreciated by the family.
