SHANNON, Patricia Ann Frances  -  The family of Patricia announces, with great sorrow, her gentle passing on August 15, 2018 at the age of 57.

It was a life abbreviated, as she would say, and a life she relished living.

After a brief and determined struggle, she passed quietly and peacefully at the home of her sister, embraced in love.

Left to grieve this incredible loss and void are her sister and best friend Beverly Turgeon (Dr. Jean), brother, Michael Shannon (Wendy) and nieces Sarah and Julia Turgeon and Megan and Paige Shannon.

In addition to being well-read and informed, she was very shrewd, quick-witted and had an absolutely incredible sense of humour. She shared these remarkable gifts with family and friends, watching over those close to her.

We would be remiss if we did not mention Trish's many extraordinary friends who supported and ushered her through her treatment and allowed her the dignity to remain in her home for as long as she did. There are many whose kindness, support and positive vibes carried her through some extremely difficult days.

In lieu of donations to charities or flowers, Patricia has requested that you practice random acts of kindness. She had a very generous spirit, not only with those closest to her but also with members of her community and those in need.

Patricia would be delighted to know that we are carrying on this tradition in her honor. Please be kind to one another. Cremation has taken place.
