TYLEE, Dennis "Deny"  -  October 2, 1948 - August 12, 2018

It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dennis "Denny" Tylee at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on August 12, 2018, after a battle with cancer at the age of 69 years.

He was the loving son of Ruby Tylee and predeceased father Royal Tylee.

Loving brother to Lloyd and his wife Barb and uncle to Mike, Greg, Brett and Grace.

He will be missed by his ex-wife Pamela who helped him through his final days (months). Dennis will be missed by family, friends and all the students he taught for many years at the Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton Catholic Secondary School.

Dennis was born and raised in Smithville, Ontario and moved to Toronto in the early 1970s to pursue his passion of teaching high school in Toronto.

Denny enjoyed life! His family thanks Dr. Kotzer and the wonderful, supportive staff at the Mount Sinai Hospital.

In keeping with Denny's wishes, a cremation with no service has taken place.

Also in keeping with his wishes, we will celebrate his life at a later date with his very best friends that he grew up with playing Junior "A" fastball.

It will be an evening to tell "Denny" stories and there will be many, many of them.

As numerous friends have stated - this is just so Denny.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
