Dougdeen MurrayDOUGDEEN, Murray Lal Charles  -  On September 11th, 2018, in his 81st year, Murray passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side and has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. 

Beloved husband of 56 years to Irene (Ballack), devoted father to Raphael (Savitri), Gail, Suzanna (Michael), proud Papa to Varune and Vishesh (Jenny), Kristi and Craig (Edyta), loving Great-Grandpa to Kaveesh and Vaishali, and Uncle and fishing companion to Andrew.

Murray was born in Trinidad and had an active upbringing with his 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

The Dougdeen family made Canada their new home in 1970. He was a loyal employee at both Alcan (Toronto) and Gentek (Burlington). 

Friends and family may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel at 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September 17th. 

Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church at 295 Queen Street South, Mississauga/Streetsville at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Interment Streetsville Cemetery, 1786 Bristol Road West, Streetsville. Reception to follow. 

In memory of Murray, remembrances may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the Oncology Department at the Credit Valley Hospital.

Special thanks to Dr. J. Wan, Dr. M. Sharm and Dr. Grant deGroot and all the staff at Credit Valley Hospital for their compassionate care.
