TONG, Chei Wen (Pen) - Chei-Wen Tong, age 85, of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
She prevailed over cancer for two years but died of old age. Chei-Wen was born May 2, 1933 (Lunar) in Ningbo, China. She married and lived in Hong Kong for more than 20 years before moving to Canada in 1985.
An accountant by training, who later dedicated herself to raising her family and supporting her husband, she is also known to be a gregarious and vivacious person with a great passion for life.
Chei-Wen will be lovingly remembered by her four children and ten grandchildren. Chei-Wen was predeceased by William, her husband of nearly six decades.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and health care workers who made Chei-Wen’s last journey not only bearable, but also productive.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Chei-Wen's memory may be made to the Mon Sheong Foundation .
