ROBINSON, Douglas - Douglas Robinson, dedicated family man and friend, passed suddenly Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Douglas was deeply loved by his wife, Patricia, daughter Lesley, son-in-law Verne and granddaughters, Lexia and Larissa.
Born in Toronto in 1936, Doug was the son of the late Jack and Jessie Robinson, brother to John Ridley and David and brother-in-law to their late wives, Doreen and Sandra.
He was loved as a brother by sisters-in-law, Yvonne and Anne and as a great friend by their husbands, Bill and Ron.
A man of humour, integrity and love, he was a favourite uncle to many of his seven nieces and nephews and enjoyed several deep and decades-long friendships in life, including with Vi and the late Doug Fraser and their daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Ron Walker.
A private family ceremony was held in Brampton on October 7th to honour his memory.
He will be remembered as a gentleman, a problem-solver and a man you could always count on.
