BASSI, Silvio – Passed away peacefully on October 14, 2018 after a lengthy stay at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill, Ontario at the age of 83.
Silvio was once accurately described as “a marshmallow with a crusty exterior”. He enjoyed playing the lottery and the slots, playing cards and travelling to Cuba.
Silvio’s best years were spent as a resident of Walker’s Point in Muskoka, Ontario and being the local carpenter and builder of many Muskoka cottages.
Predeceased by his wife Josephine Bassi (nee Simone), and stepson Martin Simone.
He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Nicole (Fabio) and Jessica (Chase) and his great-grandchildren Peter, Christopher, Ella and Oliver.
As per Silvio’s wishes, his remains will be cremated and the ashes buried privately.
