GESUALDO, Nicola Gesualdo - 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 15, 2018.
Nicola will be greatly missed by his loving wife Rosaria of 53 years, sons Leonardo Gesualdo (Elizabeth) and Carmelo Gesualdo (Emilia), and grandchildren Nicolas, Isabella, Rosalisia, Michael, Marco, and Alyssa.
Deeply missed by brothers, Silvio (Gina) and Antonio, brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael Cornacchia, Lorenzina Visconti, Loreto Orlandi (Antonietta), and Carmelo Cornacchia (Mina), and many loving nieces and nephews.
Nicola was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, great uncle and friend to everyone.
Nicola loved his farm and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren at harvest time as he watched them proudly pick fruits and vegetables. Nicola was always very insightful with his advice and stories that he used to impart his values to his children, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
He worked as a construction foreman for over 51 years. Nicola had a big heart and was always there to help his children, grandchildren, relatives and friends with household projects, or whatever else people needed him for – despite the task, work ethic, perseverance, and passion were never compromised.
Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough on October 20th from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on October 21st from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral mass will take place at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3200 Pharmacy Avenue, Toronto on Octoner 22nd at 9:30 AM.
Memorial donations to the Good Shepard Ministries would be appreciated by the family.
