Hardacre MargaretHARDACRE, Margaret Eileen  -  September 27, 1924 – October 11, 2018

Peacefully at age 94, with her daughters by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Kenneth William (1993), WWII veteran.

Much loved and cherished mother of Valerie Dunlop and husband Ted, and Deborah Perl and husband John.

Wonderful grandmother of Emily, Maggie, Diana, John-Elliot and David. Great-grandmother to baby Evelyn.

Fondly remembered by her family Shirley, Vernon and Pat and Alva. A great neighbor to Jay.

Eileen lived independently in her own home.

She was a crossword puzzle lover and a Jeopardy master, an enthusiastic snow shoveller and hedge clipper extraordinaire.

Together with Ken they shared a wonderful life and built their beloved lakeside retreat in Buckhorn, Ontario where her family will continue to enjoy many happy times.

We will miss our weekly lunches filled with laughter over egg salad sandwiches and her famous shortbread. We wish to thank the staff at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Bridgepoint Health Centre.

A very special thank you to Dr. James Kitchens for his wise and kind words. Eileen will be interred with her husband at a private family service.

Family and friends will join us later for a celebration of Eileen's life.
