HILL, Nancy - Age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliot Lake, Ontario.
Nancy went to be with her Lord following many battles with cancer.
Born in Toronto, much-loved daughter of Ted and Helen (nee Kennedy) Hill. Nancy graduated from the University of Toronto, Department of Physical Education, in 1962.
Following graduation, Nancy taught Phys. Ed. at McGill University and the University of Toronto, subsequently setting up retail businesses first, in Bobcaygeon and more recently in Elliot Lake.
Fondly remembered by her sister Sally (Ron) Jones of Oakville, brother Ted (Mary) Hill of Lindsay and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Nancy was blessed to have the friendship, care and support of Lalla and Laura Armstrong during her years of illness. Nancy will be remembered for her great sense of humour, love of family, strong Christian faith and contributions to the work of the Lord.
A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held on Saturday, December 1st at 11 a.m. at New Life Pentecostal Assembly, 20 Esten Drive South, Elliot Lake, ON P5A 3N8. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Life Pentecostal Assembly or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
