CARRIGAN, Jack Edward - (Veteran, Second World War, RAF Squadron Leader)
Died peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at the age of 97.
Jack, beloved husband of the late June Carrigan.
Loving father of Keith and his wife Joanne and Gregg and his wife Alzira.
Cherished grandfather of Bryan and Jaclyn Carrigan, Erin Ryan and Kristy Ahola and to great-grandchildren Brendan and Kylie Ryan. Dear brother of Bert and Margaret.
Jack was a kind man, eternally optimistic with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humour.
He was a skilled speaker with an undeniable presence. Jack was also a founding member of the Transportation Safety Board of Ontario.
He will be deeply missed. Family and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, Orillia, on Monday morning, December 10, 2018 from 10 o'clock until time of memorial service at 11 o'clock.
If desired, memorial donations to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Jack's family.
