OWEN, Irene Fanny (nee CANTLON) - Passed away peacefully at her home, on Saturday, December 8, 2018, in Markham, ON, at the age of 96.
Irene was born on October 29, 1922, in Arthur, Ontario.
She is survived by her son Kevin, 3 grandchildren (Sheila, Kirk and Tyler), 2 great-grandchildren (Mackenzie and Alyssa), daughter-in-law Bev and her many nieces/nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by all siblings, her loving husband David Owen and her son Trent Owen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12th from 10-11 a.m., with a service to follow at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home (2570 Danforth Ave.).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Markhaven for their care/dedication over the years.
A special thank you to Paula Antinucci, for her love, care and support for Irene throughout her life.
