WATERS, Stanley Lloyd - Died peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home at the age of 90.
Stan of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Redmond).
Loving father of Karen (Larry Flavelle), Chad (Pat), Mike (Marlene) and Trisha Tavenor.
Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Tamora (Bob), Angie (Nola), Crystal, Danielle (David) and Chad (Ashley) and great-grandfather of Justin, Jordan, Cali, Raiden and Xia.
Stan is also survived by his sister Barbara Sinclair and predeceased by siblings Charles, Ernest, Thomas, Eleanor, James, Leonard, Lorne, Jack and Mary.
A longtime employee of Alcan Aluminum, Stan was a hardworking, stubborn yet humble family man who loved and cherished his family. He had a lifelong passion for hockey as a player coach and fan and he also enjoyed thoroughbred horses and the racetrack. He will be missed.
Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 2 p.m. for the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 o'clock.
