DAndrea AgneseD'ANDREA, Agnese - Born February 2, 1925 in Montalto Uffugo, Cosenza Italy. Passed away peacefully on the morning of January 10, 2019 in her 93rd year.

Mom touched many people. A deeply loving and caring woman to everyone she met.

How amazing to have lived the life she did and to have held all the babies she held, as a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a godmother, an aunt and a friend.

With her children at her side and the gift of having the newest member of our family, Noah, present, she went in peace knowing that the maternal love she gave will continue to be felt throughout the family’s future generations.

Loving wife for 73 years to Lorenzo (predeceased).

Devoted mother to her children Dina, Guy and Rosemary (Harry Lavery), predeceased by her son Frank (Wendy Orendorff), her father Domenico, her mother Maria (nee Giammattolo), her sister Elisa (Vincenzo D’Andrea) and her brother Gaetano.

Proud Grandmother to Lori (Roger Balech), Christina (Tim Hillier), Lauren, Matthew, Lawrence, Gregory, David and Marc and great grandsons Jackson and Noah.

The family sends a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Paul Cantarutti, Dr. Fabio Varlese, Mary Grace Bianco, Jennifer Urdelas, Diocylyn (Tata) Arac, Margarita (Amy) Gomugda, Aileen Lim and Maria Romano for providing Agnese with love and exceptional care and to the staff at Mackenzie Health Hospital.

Visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2 - 5 p.m. and from 6 - 9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 14th at 11:00 a.m., at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7.).

If so desired, donations in memory of Agnese D’Andrea may be made to the Alzheimer Society
