Cheyne IanCHEYNE, Ian  -  May 2, 1933 - December 1, 2018 Born in the Orkney Islands, Scotland, in 1933 and immigrating to Canada in 1951, Ian passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, at his home in Toronto, Ontario.

Survived by Margaret, his wife of 63 years, his children David (Kate), Leslie and Brian (Theresa), 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was a leader with the Boy Scouts of Canada, 52nd Scout Troop, for 40 years.

He retired in 1996 as a mechanical technologist, from Ryerson University.

The family would like to give thanks to his personal care worker, Davy.

Extended family and friends are invited to celebrate Ian's life and share their memories during a celebration of life service and reception at Kingston Road United Church, 975 Kingston Rd., Toronto, on Saturday, January 19th, at 11:00 a.m.
