Karmakar PareshKARMAKAR, Paresh Chandra - Born July 2, 1935, Resident of Toronto Ontario. Paresh passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital on January 17, 2019.

Paresh was born in Chittagong and spent the first part of his life in Calcutta, India. An accomplished lawyer he migrated to Canada and has lived in Toronto as a proud Canadian since 1969.

Dear husband and friend of 51 years, he is survived by his wife Sipra by whom he will be dearly missed.

Beloved Super Dad, best friend and role model to daughters Sumita and Sutapa, son in law Craig and nephew Babu, his advice and guidance will be yearned for always and the work ethic he instilled will continue its impact into the future.

Cherished grandfather to 4 granddaughters Maya, Karma, Aishwarya, Xia, they will miss singing to him and upskilling him on technology.

He will also remain in the hearts of his Sister in law Mira, Niece Manika and extended family along with countless friends who were blessed to know him.

Paresh maintained a selfless relationship with his family close and far. He touched the lives of many throughout his life through his determination in teaching key life skills, his trademark smile and generosity. He maintained his strong sense of wit, independence and dignity to the end. He relished in simple pleasures, golden family time, traveling, contributing to the Bengali community, fishing and theatre.

Please join us on Sunday January 20, 2019 as we walk him home on his journey to peace. Visitation and service will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at 1:00pm. A reception and interment will follow.
