UEBERHAGEN, Jobst - After a courageous 7-year fight with ALS, Joe passed peacefully at 85, surrounded by loved ones on January 1, 2019.
Son of late Bernhadine and Erich Ueberhagen.
Beloved husband of Ingrid for 57 years.
Loving father to Warren and Sonja and doting grandfather to Amanda and Nicholas, he is missed dearly.
Joe came to Canada from Germany as a young man.
He fell in love at first sight with his Guardian Angel and loving wife Ingrid and they wed in 1962.
After the births of his son and daughter, Joe started his business "Towne & Country Painting and Decorating Ltd." in 1967, which thrived for 45 years.
His passing leaves a vast void in our hearts but he is free from his pain and rests in peace.
We hold tightly to a lifetime of happy memories and will never forget him.
