OTTOLINO, Luigi  -  Passed away peacefully on January 16th at Etobicoke General Hospital, at the age of 84 surrounded by his children, grandchildren and his nieces and nephews by his side. 

Luigi was born in Triggiano, Bari on August 16, 1934 to loving parents, Michele Ottolino and Costantina Rago. Siblings are his only sister, Angela, five brothers Vincenzo, Savino, Allessandro, Giuseppe and Antonio.

Luigi Immigrated to Canada October 1st, 1956 at the age of 25 years old.

Beloved husband of the late Pia Maria Grazia. Which were married on October 27, 1962.

Loving father to Michael, Pierina (Primo) and Costantino (Diana). Loving proud grandfather to Giulio, Anthony, Olivia, Janelle, Melissa, Nicole and Lauren. 

Luigi will be forever be remembered by all those around him by his gentle kind soul and big smile that was very contagious. His selflessness, his passion for food and being in company around a table of food with his friends and family was always so important to him. He was always ready to play a game of cards -Scopa with his grandchildren.  

He belonged to a bowling league which he played for a few years. He enjoyed watching The Toronto Maple Leafs, The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. Enjoyed listening to the Italian radio station and singing along with the tarantella songs.

'Luigi was not just a kind and sweet man, he was also one of the funniest clients we've had - always positive and looking to have a good time.
We are so lucky to have known him.'  - this is a statement from His friends from the CHATS program that he attended 3 days a week at Famee Furlan.  

He will be forever missed by his family and his friends.Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 'Woodbridge Chapel', 4671 Highway 7, Vaughan, On, on Wednesday, January 23rd, from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Service at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge, On, on Thursday, January 24th, at 9:30am. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Concord.
