Sampedro FranklinSAMPEDRO, Franklin G. - Died peacefully Thursday, January 17, 2019.

Franklin was born August 15, 1942 in Quito, Ecuador, he grew up learning to walk in the ways of the Lord and eventually moved to Toronto, Canada in 1970 with his wife and child.

A strong work ethic and faith along with a positive outlook enabled him to adapt and work in the printing industry for most of his life. He was a family man who loved life, loved his wife and kids, and loved Jesus.

His smile, example, humility and kindness touched everyone he knew and met.  Although he is gone, his enthusiastic spirit continues on through his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered as a man of God.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Carola of Mississauga; son, Andres Sampedro and wife Stacy of Twin Lake, Michigan; grandchildren, Isabella, Andres and Maya of Grand Rapids, Michigan; son, Maurice Sampedro and wife Simone of Holland, Michigan; granddaughters Eva and Elle of Holland, Michigan; daughter, Connie Sampedro of Toronto and granddaughter Elexciss Thomas of Toronto; and brothers Wilson Sampedro of Brampton; and Neptali Sampedro of Coburg.

A graveside service will be held at Brampton on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:45 am.
