Lunn SybilLUNN, Lucille ‘Sybil’ - Lucille/Sybil/Shaya/Shay/Mama/Grandmama was an absolute warrior. She met and overcame every challenge thrown at her and always with a huge smile on her face. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her nearest and dearest on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 70.

Lucille worked as an RN for over 30 years. She trained in England where she met Ronald Lunn, father of her two girls – Nadia Michelle (Sebastien) and Aileen Lesley (Dennis).

She left England for work in Winnipeg, Montreal, finally settling in London, Ontario. Her vocation as a nurse was a true testament to her loving and caring nature. She was generous to a fault with her time, advice and possessions.

Her love of family and friends was present in everything that she did. Her home was often filled with the sound of family, and the love of that was something she tried to instill in her 5 adorable grandchildren: Aidan (5), Charlotte (4), Liam (2), Michaela (1), Logan (8 months).

Lucille’s contagious laughter and larger than life spirit will be forever missed. We love you mama, ‘watermelon times’.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Orangeville on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Broadway Pentecostal Church, 556 Broadway Orangeville, on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
