MITCHELL, Eleanor 'Jean' (nee Pipe) - Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 82.
Loving and devoted wife of John “Jack” Mitchell for 59 years. Cherished mother of Jeff Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, and Ken Mitchell (Nia). Proud grandmother of Jacob and Rebecca.
Dear sister of Dave, Ken (Cathy), Richard, and Marjorie (Roger). Predeceased by siblings; Nancy (surviving Dave), Cathy (Surviving Vic), Isobel (late George), and Robert (late Barbara).

As per Jean’s wishes, Private Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at Smith’s funeral home, 1167 Guelph Line, BUrlington on Saturday, March 2nd from 12:00 noon until the Service of Remembrance which will begin at 1:00pm. Reception to immediately follow at the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Jean’s memory to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
