OGorman TimO'GORMAN, William Timothy - On March 10, 2019 with his beloved Valarie by his side, following a brief but valiant struggle with cancer, Tim left us peacefully and is now at rest in the arms of the Lord.

His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife Val, his dad William, family and friends. Tim was predeceased by his mom Rita (August 24, 2002) and his sister Colleen (September 4, 2018).

Tim was born in St Boniface, Manitoba on September 2, 1956. His military family provided many opportunities and adventures. Postings in Winnipeg, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Australia (his favorite!), Toronto, Montreal and Washington D.C. were a normal part of Tim’s early years. While these frequent moves may have been difficult at times, Tim’s forever positive outlook, spirit of adventure, and inquisitive mind were always a blessing to him.

Tim loved to fix things. His passion to figure out how things worked led him to a career in electronic technology. As an expert in this field, his extensive skills, thirst for knowledge, and willingness to accept any challenge – and find the solution, were legendary. His unique abilities were recognized and respected by his colleagues.

Tim settled in Toronto, a city he appreciated. He was the best reference for understanding traffic patterns and best routes at any time of day! It was here that he met the love of his life, Valarie. Theirs’ was truly a match made in heaven. A few years later, along came Gracie, a lovely little poodle. She loved her master and brought much joy to his everyday life.

A quiet man, Tim enjoyed time with family and friends. He was always ready to eat out, sharing many meals and happy times. Greek and Indian foods were his favorite …. The spicier the better! Breakfast out was a regular routine for Tim and Val.
Tim was renowned for his knowledge of natural health remedies and practices. He loved to share this information and was never too far from the ginger and garlic he so strongly advocated!

Tim was a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, his Saviour. He spent many hours reading the Bible with Valarie, and found great comfort in the Lord’s word and His promise of salvation. He loved attending the People’s Church, here in the City, where he felt welcomed and embraced by a sense of peace and happiness.

His laughter, zest for life, positivity, and caring spirit will be truly missed by all who were blessed by his presence.
Tim has gone before us but thanks to God for the blessed hope we have in Christ that we will meet again in heaven.
We love you Tim.
