CALAMIA, Rocco - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rocco Calamia. Surrounded by his loving family, Rocco passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 84 years of age.
Beloved Husband of 49 years to Carmelina (Sodano).
Loving Father to Calogero (Sandra Dominelli) and Marianna (Charles Woodiwiss).
Devoted Nonno to Bianca and Luca Calamia and to Samuel Woodiwiss.
Rocco will be deeply missed by his sister-in-law Grace and is predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe and Antonino and by his sister-in-law Pasqualina.
He will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Dufferin chapel, Toronto on Monday, March 18th, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The service will take place at St. Clare's Church, 1118 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 at 10:00am
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Baycrest Hospital or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. For allergy reasons we ask all guests to please refrain from wearing any cologne, perfume or scented hand creams when visiting, as per the family's request.
