Gacia MariaGACIA, Maria Lucas - God called upon Maria Lucas Garcia peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the age of 81 at Runnymede Healthcare Centre in Toronto.

Proud Grandmother to Emily and Marco Leitoguinho, and Lucas, Julia and Mattaeus Medeiros.

Maria will always be remembered by her sister Adilia Garcia (David), and all of her living relatives including godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister and brother-in-law’s.

She will be rejoined in heaven with her husband Manuel Santos Garcia.

She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends forever.

Maria was well known for her generous spirit and eagerness to share stories of her life. She enjoyed travelling with her husband, daughters and grandchildren and even in her later years, she enjoyed exploring new places and spending time with those she loved dearly.

She will be missed by those she touched over the years. She was always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need and was renowned for her endless ability to listen, and to give guidance to those who came through her door.
