DE MEDEIROS, Afonso - The old man and the sea. A fisherman, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather! A brother, an uncle and to all others Tio Afonso. Afonso de Medeiros from the island of Sao Miguel, villa Rabo de Peixe passed quietly surrounded by family on March 15, 2019.
Tio Afonso will be be sadly missed by all, but his larger than life presence influenced everyone that knew him.
This lovable, loyal, giving and honest man is being honoured.
Please join us to celebrate his life and share a memory, and if not, wish him fair winds and following seas.
Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Bathurst Chapel, Toronto on March 18, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. the service will place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 130 Bathurst Street, Toronto on March 19, 2019 at 09:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
