MURPHY, Rosa (Vida) (nee Talbert) - (June 3, 1942 – May 10, 2019)
Passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 with her husband John by her side.
Cherished mother of Cecil Talbert (Grace), Michael Murphy and Rohan Talbert. Proud grandma of Taiya, Noah, Grafton, Isaiah, Kingston, Ashton, Lucas, Maximiliam and Johnathan.
Sadly missed by her sister Rosalind Talbert, sister-in-law Bonnie (Roy Good), many nieces and nephews.
Rosa and John have been married for 35 years. Together they travelled throughout Canada visiting family and friends. Rosa will fondly be remembered for her famous catch phrase; "Cheers-Oh Mother." This could always be heard as she cooked and entertained family and friends, casting a fishing line or sitting around a campfire.
Vida loved life and lived it to the fullest. Counting her blessings in family and wonderful friends she made on her life's journey. Her memory will forever be in our hearts.
Friends may call the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, on Wednesday, May 15th from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 16th at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
