VRYSSAOTIS, Peter Panagiotis - (July 7, 1922 – June 18, 2019)
Peter Panagiotis Vryssaotis was born in Antissa-Lesvos, Greece on July 7, 1922. His father’s name was Vasilios Vryssaotis and his mother’s name was Myrsini. Peter was the youngest of 5 children.
Both of Peter’s parents passed away when he was just a child and he was put in an orphanage. He endured many physical and emotional hardships in his early childhood years.
Peter’s love for Canada was undescribable. This country gave him life and meaning to live. He was very proud to be a CANADIAN!!
Peter passed away at home at the age of 96.
He was the beloved husband of the late Vassilia. He was the loving father of Popi (Kelly) and her husband Vaggelis and the late Pantelis. Dear grandfather of Iraklis and Vasiliki.
The Visitation will be held on Sunday June 23rd from 4pm-7pm at the Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Avenue, Toronto.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 24th at the St. Demetrio’s Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Dr. at 11:30 am. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.
