MARTINO, Mrs. Giuseppina - Giuseppina passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 89.
Giuseppina, the loving wife of the late Giuseppe Martino, treasured mother of Mary, Antoniette, Giovanna and Frank, beloved Nonna of Bianca and Daniel and cherished Bisnonna of Tristan and Ethan.
Predeceased by younger sister Caterina Cortese.
All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love for her family. Giuseppina was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. She was the inspiration and guiding force of the Martino family and will be missed every day.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 9:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 72 Mansfield Ave, Toronto. Entombment Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave., W., Toronto.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted with Cardinal funeral home, Toronto.
