JANG, May Lai-Yee (nee LEUNG) - May Jang passed away peacefully at home after a battle with cancer on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the age of 56. She was constantly surrounded by family and friends throughout her fight.
May was predeceased by her father Fatt Leung.
May was the best hockey mom to Edison and Brandon. She leaves behind her husband Edward Jang, mother Lai-Fong Leung, sister Yim Leung, brothers Brian and Dave Leung and sister-in-law Diane Leung.
May was a caring and kind aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
May had many interests including photography, binge watching tv shows all night long, tending to her pet fish, reading crime novels, online shopping and being the number 1 hockey fan to her three boys. She was a model of strength to her family and to everyone that knew her.
You are welcomed to celebrate May’s life at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres: Visitation on Wednesday, June 26th from 5 - 9pm and on Thursday, June 27th from 10 a.m. until time of Chapel Service, Interment and Reception from 11 - 3pm.
