LUUKKO, Mary 'Lamoine' - (August 17, 1941 - June 20, 2019) – After a courageous battle with cancer, Lamoine passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, William Luukko, and parents John and Marguerite Thompson.
Lamoine will be missed by her loving children, Mary-Jill (Jilly) Huxley and Andrew Luukko (Lara), her treasured grandchildren, Nicholas and Charlie, her devoted sister Elaine (Lud) and brothers Doug (Doug) and Bob; her dear nieces, nephews, cousins and her many friends.
Lamoine touched the lives of those she encountered with her love, faith, generosity and contagious spirit. She was passionate about her nursing career, community service and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was engaged in life til the end. We take solace in the memory and legacy of a life beautifully lived.

We will celebrate Lamoine’s life at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, on Monday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m.
