De CASTRO, Filomena - It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Filomena De Castro.
She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the age of 80.
Filomena will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Angelo and her children: Laura (Mike), Gianni (Grace), Marilena (Alberto) and Louie.
“Nonna Mena” will forever be in the hearts of her eight grandchildren Stephanie (Carlo), Lisa, Tonya (Joseph), Peter, Melissa, Robert, Amanda, Sara and precious great-granddaughter Julia.
Sister to Ferdinando (Cornelia),sister-in-law to the De Castro family in Italy and Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Filomena was predeceased by her parents Filiberto and Anna Cappadocia. She will be cherished by her many relatives and friends.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele Street) on Wednesday, June 26 from 1-4 & 6-9pm.
Funeral Service is at St. Wilfrid’s Church (1675 Finch Avenue) Thursday, June 27th at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
