MCDONOUGH, Patrick Shawn  -  It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Patrick on Saturday the 22nd of June at the age of 44.

Beloved Husband to Michelle (Goddard) and doting father to his daughter and 'little monkey' Christine.

Dear son of Margaret (Doug), Merv and son-in-law to Maria. Known as 'Funcle' to Mackenzie, Olivia, Rachel and Amy for always keeping his nieces entertained. Survived by his sister Shannon, brothers-in-law Raymond and Barry, and sister-in-law Alison. Predeceased by his dear sister Lisa.

Born in Scarborough on October 17th 1974, educated at St. Jean Brebeuf and St. Thomas Aquinas, Patrick graduated from Funeral Services in 1997.

Patrick was passionate about many things including his wife of 14 years, the recent gift of his precious daughter, his football team, Notre Dame, golfing, music especially Jimmy Buffet, and his acquired love, through marriage, of the New England Patriots. Patrick’s larger than life personality shone through in all he did. Fondly remembered and deeply missed by many family, friends, colleagues and all who knew him.

Friends will be received at Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, June 27th from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 28th at 10 am from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario. Entombment at Prospect Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Christine McDonough Trust Fund.
