SEN, Prithviraj - (29 August, 1949 – 23 June, 2019) - Prithviraj Sen of Toronto succumbed to his long fight with cancer on June 23, 2019.
Prithviraj is survived by his son Adhiraj Tagore Sen, grandson Kiran Alexander Sen, granddaughter Mira Olivia Sen, brother Nataraj Sen, and sisters Madhusree Das Gupta and Joya Sen.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Santosh Kumar and Shephalika Sen, his wife Chitralekha Suvam Sen, and his son Surjo Tagore Sen.
He will also be missed by his many other family members and friends across the globe.
Prithviraj was a well-respected marine engineer and marine engineering consultant. He worked for BC Ferries for most of his career, having lived in many beautiful places along coastal British Columbia with his family.
Although he loved being at sea, he was a man of many other interests and talents. He was an accomplished photographer, writer, Vedantist, world traveller, and gastronome. He was a passionate person, a true romantic.
The family would like to thank the many physicians and care givers who have helped Prithviraj with his fight with cancer over the years
Visitation at Jerrett funeral home, 6191 Yonge St., Toronto on June 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service there at 10:30 a.m. Cremation at 11:30 a.m.
